Everybody there was so nice, from the front desk, the cleaning staff, wait staff and all the people in the Casino. The room was wonderful. Clean, Comfy, luxurious. My husband has a bad back and is very picky when it comes to beds. He said this was one of the most comfortable he has slept in. We can't wait to go back.

Only 3 stars because all the have left are a few rooms and small gift shop. The staff was wonderful and so welcoming. Hotel was clean. Definitely enjoyed staying there. My room was more than I expected. It could use updating but since it was bought out by Cesar's I guess we will see. Half hotel is shut down no casino or food. But the rest was great. I would stay again if open when I return. Food and casino is quick walk across parking lot along with plenty of food options.

Stayed on 2/13. Check in staff was quite rude and not helpful. The Valet was friendly and very helpful. The Casino is closed and all the amenities are next door at the Horseshoe. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and very clean. The hallway smelled like it had just been cleaned and was perfumed enough to be offensive. They still charge the resort fee but we were not informed about it at check-in even though they have no amenities except next door. Overall, Tunica is a hole and the roadhouse was greatly disappointing. I should have stayed at the Horseshoe or skipped Tunica all together. I saw absolutely no reason to go back.

Loved, loved, loved, loved, loved this place. The decor was awesome and when they say free drinks they mean it! There is a button to push on the gambling machines that will bring up a menu of drinks for you to choose from and just a couple minutes later someone will appear with a drink in hand delivered right to you! It was awesome! Had a blast here. Was staying at a different casino but ended up walking to this one every night.

We've stayed with this group the last 4 years and they never disappoint. The staff is extremely pleasant. The hotel is older but not run down. Everyone is eager to please and made us feel important.High five to Larry the Valet, he always greets us like he has known us forever and so eager to please.Casino even let's you win! Although I seem to donate it all back before we left.Great experience! Would highly recommend this establishment!

The rooms are outstanding and the service was just as great, we were greeted and offered help having our bags brought to our room, when we offered a tip the attendant was already gone! He was very polite and quick. The gift shop is well stocked with a variety of essentials and souvenirs, parking is easily located and the wait staff were very prompt and helpful!

The Horseshoe Tunica hotel is situated in a vibrant casino resort that features five restaurants, an outdoor pool, and a gym. The hotel rooms are casual and comfortable for guests to relax in. Visitors can enjoy their day exploring the city of Memphis by visiting St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ducks Unlimited Waterfowling Heritage Center, National Civil Rights Museum - Lorraine Motel or trying their luck at the Horseshoe Casino.

Really had no complaints when I went. The steak restaurant was excellent along with the service. They made my friend feel very special for her birthday. The restaurants are pricey as I had expected but you can get little appetizers and small plates. Horseshoe is the biggest casino in Tunica if that’s what you want. Lots of people winning. Great love music on Friday night. Drinks good. Every worker we had encounters with was very pleasant & welcoming. I would go back!

Nice, friendly staff. Table dealers are great at helping you learn new games if your go-to game table is full. Beautiful decor making you feel like you're in a nice atmosphere. I've been to this location a few times & win or lose, I always leave happy from a good time! My only negative is the buffet was changed to a different restaurant & it was absolutely horrible service & the food was not even sub par. I don't mind paying good money for good food but it's a little upsetting to pay good money for bad food plus horrible service. We didn't let it ruin our trip, though. We just ate somewhere else the next meal

My stay was good, because I enjoyed the room, and would have enjoyed the casino, but it was too much cigarette smoke 🚬 for me as a nonsmoker. I had a complimentary flight and hotel over, which was nice until the process of returning home. The hotel escort an airplane fully loaded with people of different age groups to the airport much too early which was very unprofessional and we had no seating area at the airport to sit during this wait. There weren't any airport attendants to check us in, until an hour later. Now of course, at this, we all were feeling like we were treated with no respect, mainly after we have spent our money with Horseshoe Casino.

Appropriately rated as a 2 star hotel. Can tell it was nice at one point in the past. Main issue was cleanliness. Hallway very dirty. Dirt in the bathroom corners. Room wasn’t ready at 4:30 despite booking it several days in advance. Beds were comfortable. Would have had a free room but no available pet-friendly free rooms available.

Me and my husband visited for one night for a "parent's night out". Everyone was super nice upon arrival! We weren't in our room long before realizing our TV didn't work, but we let them know and they moved us to a new room right away! The cleanliness could have been better, but overall nothing huge to gripe about. I had read a lot of reviews beforehand about the slots being tight, etc but that wasn't the case for us. Played a little black jack and our first dealer Donald was AMAZING! He was very patient with me as I was learning and it truly gave you an EXPERIENCE as soon as you sat down. Then, he was replaced with Ray who was EXTREMELY rude as soon as he sat down. We started with a full table with strangers we were having so much fun with, but Ray quickly changed the entire atmosphere and it wasn't long before we all got up. That man has no business working in the hospitality industry. Overall, it was a good experience and we definitely will return!

We didn’t stay here but went to the casino to gamble with my son who just turned 21. 1st time loyalty card users get $10 in rewards play so that was nice. I personally had some good luck at the slots so I have a great opinion of the place hahaha! Good range of machines, table play and high limit areas. My husband played blackjack for a little while and liked it too. Starbucks in there was a nice touch!

Made some great memories here. It's just an awesome place we arrived and left the next day and not empty handed. But that restaurant the one they have that famous cook their do not go I ate and got sick really bad really bad. I had to go get medicine like really bad. But all the rest is just perfect a perfect casino to have fun and make extra money. Good luck make this casino your next stop!!!

Went to the counter to check in and got no "welcome to.horseshoe, what can I do for you"? But instead all she said was "photo I'd please?"And with zero personality, proceeded to check us in. The room was like a mile walk from the elevators which was insane. The halls are dark and dingy. They refused to let me take my own bags and insisted on having a bell hop person do it so I had to wait around for him to come take my bags that I was capable of carrying and it was clear that this was all a ruse to get tips.My room was so dark I could hardly see and that's after turning on all the lights. We had nothing but rooftops to look at out the window... it may have well been not there... useless window when the only thing you see is dirty roofs with ladders and equipment mess everywhere. Being here during the week... there was no where to get food and the snack store downstairs is WAAAY over priced. Way to take advantage of your guests. The room clearly hadn't been dusted in a long time.... it was gross. The bed had hairs on it.The water in the bathroom came out of the sink in a literal trickle.... so crazy. We were supposed to be here 2 nights for my birthday but I only stayed 1 and decided to go somewhere else. I came to gamble and have fun but decided not to give a dime to the casino. The place was gross and the staff was lacking and give a damn. I can't give my money to a place like that.

Pink C — Google review

The room was actually pretty decent and was inexpensive. The casino and hotel reminded me of the Rio in Vegas when Caesars gave up on it. The place was dirty and a lot of things were broken. The floors were dirty, carpet held together by duct tape, urinals covered with a garbage bag, elevator card reader and lights not working, and plenty more issues. It just didn't have a good feel to it, which is a shame. The place could be attractive with just a little effort. We didn't even spend the night. We drove our four hours back home instead. We will likely never return.

Traveler_312 — Google review

Visited this past September. Nice place. Fitness center was in a state of disarray. Broken ceiling fans. Lights not working. Pieces of ceiling tile on the floor. There was a floor fan but the motor seized after turning it on. Maybe in the middle of a renovation? Seemed like it had some potential. I'll be back again. Hopefully the gym is in better shape then.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. However, the hotel rooms did not have a microwave. I was like you mean to tell me that the room has a fridge, 3 TVs, c- shape sofa, nice chair, and more, But no microwave. It's almost like you are being forced to eat the Not So Tasty food. I ended up eating my cold shrimp pasta I brought with me prior to checking in. The customer service was super awesome.

Loved this casino. Everyone were very nice to us. They have truck parking near entrance very convenient and great because there’s an ice storm so we did not walk too far. Poker room is not big but it’s cozy. Dealers were all very nice especially John he was my favorite he gave us awesome hands. Free drinks but tips are welcome. I also played slots won double. Played roulette and lost lol can win everything. Had a burger at the sports grill which was fire. Fries were good too, service was also good. In all great experience. Today we might stay the night and play again. I am going to say the service here is way better than the Golden casino. No harassment here. Winnings in pics are my husbands.

Diana G — Google review

We loved the pictures of the hotel on their site, however when we arrived, it wasn’t like the pictures. The pool was empty and closed. There was no coffee pot in the room. There was a sign in the room saying that if we took anything we would be charged and the prices of each hotel item was listed. It’s been at least 20 years since we stayed at a hotel with no coffee in the room and we don’t steal from the hotels we stay in, and we travel a lot.

Definitely in need of remodeling. Smells old and moldy. Stayed room w/king size bed. Had old wing back chair that was stained and extremely uncomfortable to sit in.Bathroom had built up dust on hairdryer, base boards & exhaust fan. Only plus in room was having a lockable safe, small refrigerator, iron & ironing board. There are fees for extra towels, toilet paper, etc. Housekeeping only if you call.Casino was so smoky that I wore a mask. Slot machines extremely tight, no money won. Had a waitress drop a half empty glass with a mix drink in it that hit the floor right beside me as I set at slot machine that splashed my new white shirt that stained front, back & left sleeve. All she brought me was a wet wad of paper towels to clean with. Definitely will NEVER go back to Tunica.

Cathy S — Google review

The rooms need renovating and cleaning. Shower curtain was hanging loosely by one.screw. Wall covering redone in patches and was loose and curling up. Carpet frayed with 3 and 4 in strings. Carpet needs vacuuming throughout hotel. Never saw a vacuum. The toilet and sink did not appear to have been cleaned in some time. And we had to pay for this. Bartenders were zombies. No personality or friendliness....and never at the bar. Room 2145....check it out.

This casino is an absolute gem! From the lively atmosphere to the friendly staff, every visit feels like a winning one!The gaming options are diverse, catering to all preferences, and the excitement is contagious. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating a warm and inviting vibe.Don’t forget to grab a players card and visit 8oz Burger in the back of the casino.

Beware putting your card on file for incidentals. After attending a work conference and being told they would hold my card for $40 incidental (regular $199), for 3 days they charged and deducted from my card several times. By the time I checked out of the hotel $400 had come out of my account for “ incidentals”. With no real answers, shoulder shrugs and you’ll have your money back in 3-5 business days. Needless to say I won’t return to the hotel. The room was very nice, staff food service throughout the conference was amazing!

Just the closest Vegas like casino to Memphis. Clean with good interactions with the employees. The line for players card is long but moved fast and the self service machines were out of order. Everything works, hotel rooms are spotless casino is clean. Nice bars. Great fun!

Khay W — Google review

I come here to play poker. This casino has an amazing poker room with great service and dealers. Free drinks while playing and plenty of tables. One of my favorite places to play. I have stayed here and the room are nice. Great view of the river and the land around the casino which is pretty much just land. Where this casino is located there is not much else around besides a few fast food places and gas stations.

Poker M — Google review

The service was impeccable! I really wish the other casinos would allow you to order your drinks at the machine you're playing on. That was definitely a bonus, and the servers were awesome! The bathrooms were so clean.

Adriana M — Google review

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We were told that the pool was open and upon arrival we discovered that it was closed. We were told that it had been closed since Sunday for repairs but since reading over some of the reviews it seems like it has been closed for much longer. We were told that Tunica was the closest thing to Las Vegas. Definitely not. The area had 2 hotels/casinos there and besides that there was almost nothing around at all. Just small gas stations. Food was ridiculously expensive for just being mediocre. We had to get 5 new sets of keys to our room because the keys kept deactivating. Something they don’t tell you when they hand you the keys is that they will deactivate if you hold them near your phone. The whole place reeks of cigarettes and weed. You will be charged for everything if you stay here. I know that I will never be staying here again. The location is horrible. Nothing in our room was properly cleaned and there was mold growing on the walls of the bathroom. All of the staff seemed completely miserable and were very rude. The walls are very thin as well and you can basically hear everything going on in the hallways.

We went to eat at Guy Fieri’s new restaurant and it was amazing! I got the BBQ brown sugar wings and my boyfriend had the chicken sandwich with mac&cheese on top (can’t remember the name) and they were absolutely delicious. The food prices aren’t awful but the drink prices are pretty steep. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back soon!

Callie C — Google review

Overall I liked the experience. Some of the co*cktail waitresses were rude but some were nice. The dealers seemed to have good attitudes. I liked that they served drinks in a timely fashion and they were in glasses. During the day on Saturday the drinks were good but later on they were all too sour in the evening. We ate at Guy Fieri’s and the place was so nice! Our bartender was the nicest person we met in Tunica. Most of the employees either hate their lives, their jobs or people in general. The food at Guys was flavorless and not even hot-warm at best and fries were not fresh, which shocked me. He needs to get on Google maps so we can review the restaurant and he can make some changes. Not sure what you can do when 90% of the people that live and work in that town are so uncaring and rude. But I liked this casino better than Gold strike and will be back for the experience, regardless of the bad apples

Rebecca M — Google review

Casino is good except for all the smoking. Should have non smoking rooms or areas to play. The hotel is outdated, the furniture is old and worn, the toilet handle was broke and toilet ran unless you did the jiggle. Overall not impressed. Staffing issues are apparent as well.

I went to the spa for a facial and a hand rejuvenation. Reese was absolutely fantastic! I would come back here just to see her! She's very professional and knowledgeable of all the services offered. Plus, She's so nice and easy to talk to making the entire experience fantastic. Thank you Reese!

Current building only a shadow of what the casino hotel was like a decade ago. Had to pay for upgrade but room did not appear significantly better than original room with maybe the space for couch. Phone did not work so could not call for additional towels (or help). Room for four only came with two towels. Expect walls with scuffs, panels in disrepair, and unpolished features that come from years of lack of care or updates. Beds were comfortable. Casino was quiet with limited dining options. No more buffet. Burger bar did not accept dining credit. Price of meal appeared to be $20 per person in other venues on site, except steak house. Slots seemed dated and quiet. Table games were ok. Nothing like Caesar’s properties in Vegas.

EL C — Google review

This exceeded my expectations! The rooms were nicer than I expected. The lobby, casino, and public areas were nicely done and very clean. All the employees I met were friendly and helpful. The restaurants all looked updated and new. The food at the steak house was the star of the trip!

John S — Google review

Reading reviews on the way I was getting worried. Haven't been here in about a year, but always stop when traveling through. Don't know where some of you are staying. Hotel is not bad. I've stayed in nicer hotels, and I've stayed in way worse hotels right here in Tunica. Every person who works here that I came into contact with was pleasant, smiled, and asked how I was doing. Very friendly. tipped one dealer just because she made it so fun. Room was clean. Was not dark like some said and had plenty of outlets. I won a little, lost a little, ended up down but had a great time. Will definately be back. Thanks Horseshoe staff!

Teresa V — Google review

Rooms are dated. The cabinet felt like it was a shock hazard with hanging wires. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the AC room temperature was cold which I like. The room smelled strongly of weed even though it was supposed to be non-smoking.The casino was actually really good. Luckily didn't cost much money because of comp credits.

Billy D — Google review

Great place! Had a lot of fun. The people there are decent, but if you're in a wheelchair and you need a handicap room, they only have one bed. They could easily put two twin beds in there, but they choose not to because they look at it's differently. I'm not going to give anything less than five stars because the people there in the service was great. I just find it incredibly offensive that you can't put some twin beds and a handicap room it's 2024 time to wake up also in the casinos the carpet is very thick so if you're in a manual chair it's really hard to get around

Jeff P — Google review

The room was a disaster! The restroom was dirty tub and toilet. There were so many hairs and ashes on the furniture and the blanket and two of the pillows had black spots. Oddly the young lady that checked me in, strangely asked if I was sure I wanted the room I had, but I should have looked in it after I checked in, but unfortunate for me I went to have dinner. This was a total waste, and I hate I spent my money on this stay😡

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a resort. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure!Very helpful and kind staff! I went during the early week, rarely are there too many smoke smells. Everyone are nice and attentive. Buffet is great! My favorite machine did move but we were able to find it. :)

Nice casino. It was packed. Standing room only. I received a player's card and got $25 dollars at the kiosk. Paid $40 for the buffet. It looked good but most things were cold. Who wants to pay $40 for a meal and it is cold. Hospitality was OK. I did not understand most of the machines.and love st that $25 in a flash, playing a 1 cent machine. Not a pleasant experience.

Let's start off with service a place like this should have great service but they fell at that The new owners are definitely not training everybody how they're supposed to treat their customers as well as the rewards program The new owners have a reward system That's pretty bad to say the least. Also I gamble in many places this place has bad vibesThe first time I went and decided to go a second time I should have just stopped at the first time. Would I recommend this place absolutely not till they change their vibes at least better customer service. I would definitely return if they improve customer service. Definitely had a bad experience both times!

We live in Texas. My newlywed husband brought me to Gold Strike for my birthday. I had not been there in about 10 years. It was wonderful!! I would love to know what kind of mattress was on our bed. He has back issues and has much difficulty getting comfortable. We were both very comfortable. I would very much appreciate it if a manager would let me know what kind of mattress that was (23rd floor). My only disappointment was that the breakfast buffet is not available during the weekdays. I have very fond memories of cheese-stuffed crepes with strawberry sauce.

Fun place, great food and entertainment!Chicago Steakhouse is number #1 on my list for steak and impeccable service. It may be a little higher priced, but if you want perfectly cooked food and to be treated like royalty splurge a little and tell Chef Jeremy I sent you! Oh and the buffet is hard to beat if you have a giant appetite!!

This is our half way stopping point for our trips to see family. Casino is clean and a good place to visit. Great games and free play for members. Food. games, rooms, all good. The bad - location is rather secluded and not what it was years ago. Closed and abandoned casinos scattered in the area. Local businesses seem to never have recovered. Still the experience is overall good at the Gold Strike Casino.

Barney H — Google review

Yeah.....just not it. The room was fine, just. But as a player passing through, the tables just don't care that you're there. No restaurant on the premises, had to go across the street. Glad I did, because the horseshoe had much better games and instantly took good care of me. Won't be back.

Beau — Google review

The beds were very comfy, the room could have been a bit cleaner in the bathroom, and the wall had a hole in it where someone must have pushed the door open too hard. The folks at the front desk were very nice, and the casino was fun. Food was decent in the sports bar, but they really need to provide fresh coffee at the buffet and not Folgers in a big tank that was luke warm at best.

Laureen H — Google review

Had an enjoyable quick overnight stay-room was nice and quiet and well appointed. We had dinner at the Chicago Steakhouse which was perfect 👍🏼 All staff were super friendly and professional. We even took sone time to try our luck ( not so lucky :-( ) in the casino. We grabbed a quick breakfast at Sweet Tea on our way out- no complaints!!

As much as I go to the casino this was the first time I reserved a room. I don't live that far, but I knew I didn't want to drive back home since the roads were kind of bad. This exceeded my expectations I was pleasantly surprised. With this being a casino I thought the rooms would be mediocre, but it wasn't. Money well spent it was very clean bathroom and all. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and everything was nice and neat in my room. I see myself staying again in the near future.

I only went to the casino part on this visit. I got carded immediately lol, so if you don't look your age..get ready for that! It's a pretty building with golden lights. Calm atmosphere...more of an older crowd. They're just there to enjoy themselves and I can get with that. And it doesn't just smell like straight up smoke 😭 Nice!

We stayed next door at the Horseshoe and gambled at both. The Gold Strike was a fantastic resort. Right when you walked in it smelled great. Super clean and really large. Lots of games! The one issue was it was hard to get a drink on Friday and Saturday nights. Not the servers fault at all but still annoying. Will be back for sure!

Scott B — Google review

I visited here over the weekend and it was great!. They had a band playing and a really great atmosphere. The slots were hitting and the card tables were decent as well. A very nice get away.

Ci B — Google review

Great atmosphere, there was a band both nights, w/ a DJ in between sets keeping the crowd jumping. Been awhile since I've put down hard liquor that fast... Yep, over estimated my ability. Not a problem. Had two stunning and kind co*cktail servers take care of me. One All night long, damn near proposed. Not yet, still a great place to unwind.

Called and paid for 2 nights for a room over phone. Once I received my reservation via Email. I realized it was only one night.I called back and she assured me it was for 2 nights. She told me that she would be working when I arrived and she would correct it. I drove the 5 hour trip and once I arrived the host said it couldn't be changed. There was no attempt to follow thru with what the employee had promised me over the phone. They then charged me an extra 50 dollars for the room, and said that was a room deposit and I would get my deposit back once I left. The room was nice and clean. I slept in my bed for a total of 4 hours that night, didn't use shower, didn't turn on television, and barely made a wrinkle in the bed sheets. After looking at my credit card statement I was NOT give all my room deposit back... WHY??.Why would GS employees lie to their customer .. Why would I not get my deposit back?. These are questions I called GS and tried to get answered . I got put on hold twice, and hung up on 3 times..My final thought is BEWARE.... They are not honest with what they tell you. Not the same as it has been in the past years. .

We had a great time at Gold Strike Casino. Great atmosphere, amazing staff. We did not stay at the hotel but will in the future. The only thing that would have made our trip better would have been a jackpot lol. We will be back.

My husband and I booked for one night. After we got there we were so happy it wasn't longer. The front desk staff was not welcoming. The room was clean but out vent fan in the bathroom did not work. The air conditioner did not work well. I had to fix our broken towel rack so it would hold out towel. The ice machine didn't work on our floor or on several other floors. None of the soda machines between floor 17 and 32 worked. Several of the floors had water damage and smelled. We went to dinner at Buffet Americana. Half of the buffet was shut down. The selection was not that great and the desserts tasted like they were weeks old. When we tried to go to the same buffet for breakfast the next morning we were advised that they were not opening for brunch. It was impossible to get a drink while we were gambling. We went to the Horseshoe to gamble and loved it. The staff was friendly. Easy to get a drink. We won't stay at the Gold Strike ever again. And we won't recommend it to anyone either.

Horrible beyond horrible this customer service is deplorable!!! From the moment we checked in! We hoped that maybe it would get better but NO!! Nice place but the people that work here know NOTHING about hospitality. Unfortunate but true. If you’re from out of town and looking to have an enjoyable time don’t expect it here! After a 7 hour drive looking forward to all the hype of “Tunica” we are going to now forfeit our second night just to leave this place. The other casinos around are SO MUCH better and friendlier!!! Thanks for absolutely NOTHING “Gold Strike”

Tamara M — Google review

We have been going to the Gold Strike since 1998. It is starting to show it’s age. The beds are uncomfortable and the hotel rooms need updating. Many of the staff are just plain rude now! It’s obvious they don’t care if you are there or not, but they sure do expect a tip for everything they do. The restaurant choices are very slim. For a casino of this size I would expect more food options.

Sherry H — Google review

Nicer of the casinos in the area. Hotel room AC not very cold and rooms need updates. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Food quality needs to be better in all restaurants. Very average at best. Nice staff that wanted to help.

The last time we were at this casino was 8 years ago. I know COVID had a substantial impact on the Casino industry in Tunica. A lot of casinos have gone. We have good memories of times past, now, it's not the same.We requested a non-smoking room at check in. When we got to the room, there was a foul stench of cigarette smoke. It was disgusting to say the least. No microwaves in the rooms any longer. .Only one Gold Strike laundry bag,The bottled water tasted terrible. There were no channel guides for the TV.The pool and whirlpool were closed. (That is understandable because of COVID)The level for customer service took a downhill plunge in 8 years for certain. We will NOT be back.

If you order from sweet Tea and you get a electronic puck. Don't leave the restaurant or you w never be notified your meal is ready. No one tells you this.Toilet and shower backed up in one of our rooms and our rooms were charged individually instead of our corporate card.

Room was nicer than I expected and a decent price. I had noisy neighbors that made lots of noise at 345am. That sucked but the view frol the 27th floor was nice. Room was comfy.

Kri ( — Google review

I’m probably a little harsh but I wanted to share. It’s been a few years since I’ve been here and it shows. The first room I entered had no working deadbolt so I immediately went down to the front desk and requested a room change. The room was nice enough but the mattress had lots of mileage on it. Uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there seemed to be spots on the shower tile. Mold maybe? Not sure. Toilet and sink were in good shape. Overall the room was very clean. Needed a new coffee maker and blow dryer both were broken. Not quite Vegas.

Rebecca G — Google review

Horrible service. None of the employees was nice. Got a room and it was filthy like someone else trash was in the trash can, floors couldn’t walk on barefoot in your own room, refrigerator filthy. Switched rooms and it wasn’t much better. I paid over $200 for a room! For my deposit I was told 3-5 business days. Sign says 24hrs… called and now they said 3-14 business day!!!! I don’t recommend this place at all!!!!! I’d leave a no star if I could because they don’t deserve even 1!

Tunica is in a sad state. Needless to say, I don't EVER have to visit Goldstrike or, for that matter, Tunica, MS again. Tunica casinos were booming years ago. It was my favorite spot - like a little Vegas. It had been several years since my last visit and boy has it gone down.Slot machines were pretty loose. No jackpot, but I did fairly well. Best believe, whatever they give you on the slots, they recoup at the tables, the Mississippi Stud tables anyway. That's all I play, and each of the tables I sat at was brutal.

Joyce D — Google review

We only went for the buffet. The resort was nicer than some of the other casinos in that area. The food on the giant buffet was pretty damn good actually-and I'm not a buffet person.

Lacey I — Google review

We had the buffet. The prime rib was over cooked. The fish was dry as sand. The sweet potato casserole was bland and like all the sugar was drained out of it. The fried rice wasn't good either. Probably the worst buffet I've been to in a very long time. Do not recommend eating here. Go somewhere else.

Don’t know they tell you that your 50 dollars will be refunded when you check out it’s been nearly 2 weeks and still no refund. All I’m saying is be up front honest with people tell them it takes 2 weeks to finalize the bill and then you get your 50 dollars back. Cause I was literally told that as soon as I check out it will be refunded v back into my account. And it’s still pending and it’s been 2 weeks. When I paid for the room I don’t have the chose the money comes straight out of my account. But you get to wait before you refund me. Not to mention how rude the staff is when I called about it. I don’t figure this will be read or anything done about it. I probably won’t even get my money back. Maybe it will help someone make there decision before staying there.I did send a email 3 days ago and nobody ever responded back. Here is another update now I’m being told it will be 30 days before I get my money back. They tell me to send an email I did and no body replies back to me. This is so ridiculous they won’t me to just forget about it and I’m not. Can someone please help me with this

The room could have been cleaner. It was dusty like no one had been in it in months. Other than that, Gold Strike has always been a main attraction. Especially during holidays.

Casinos & Gambling

Hollywood Casino & Hotel Tunica is a Hollywood-themed casino hotel offering classic rooms, 3 restaurants, a pool, and a gift shop. Guests can also stay at the RV park with convenient water and electric hookups. The well-staffed casino offers a nice selection of games where visitors can enjoy small wins. While the food at the small grill inside the casino was adequate, some guests found room heating issues and were not pleased with the cash-out system.

My husband brought me for my birthday, we had a great time.Except when I went to take a shower the next morning, we did not have any hot water. The staff at check out did not even seem to care. That was a pretty big deal to me, bc we also had a huge tub but who wants a cold shower or bath.

Kristy G — Google review

Second stay at the Hollywood in Tunica. I like that the pool was open. Rooms were clean. Would be nice if they reopened the buffet. I would rather drive to waffle house than eat from the other restaurants they offer. Soda machines need to be repaired and filled up with products. DO NOT use your card in the drink machines. It's not the Gold Strike or Horse shoe, but the price was good.

Nathanael D — Google review

Really convey how personal the staff made our stay. 3 card poker was really fun and the dealers are very friendly with 25 years of experience. Paid only 25.99 dollars for 2 nights. The restaurants are staffed with infinity trained Chefs.Fitzgerald upstairs is my favorite. We ate there twice and Happy Birthday was sang by everyone for my wife. Simply said, the staff, waiters, chefs, and host have my long term relationship for many returns. The fare on the menu is awesome. Oysters , oh me. Steaks came ordered to perfection. The casino host are speedy and friendly. They value your business and will always 💯 percent insure that you are completely satisfied. TY Lisa.

The rooms are always great! They actually have enough pillows on the bed. I love the pool and hot tub! Usually, the service is good. Tonight, couldn't get a drink at the bar or the floor. Got charged for the drink when I finally caught the bartender at the bar. Then she was rude. I get she's the only one there...for real don't have to be rude and only talk to the 2 girls at the end of the bar orthe cleaning guy that was just leaning on the bar. I really do like this casino, just not Tonight. The front desk girl was awesome and friendly. The lady working the Celebrity Grill was great...food was good and quick. Just the bartender sucked.

Joanne P — Google review

We stayed at the RV park here while traveling through the area. It was a simple parking area with water and electric hookups, but was in the parking area next to the casino so it was very convenient for us. We played at the casino our first night and were lucky enough to hit a couple of small wins and a little bit larger win as well. There is a nice selection of games and the casino is well staffed. We ate at the small grill located inside the casino and the food was adequate, but nothing to write home about. The RV park offers bathrooms and showers and is well lit. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Casino was good, rooms were great had refrigerator, iron/board,hair dryer, coffee maker even a safe! All in room!!Went on bus trip with CEDRIC TOURS(OUTSTANDING)Would/will drive back myself/husband!!

Khandis D — Google review

Casino was great ~ Hotel .. toilet flapper wouldn't go down without removing the back, a plug prong was broken off inside the electrical outlet exposing the hot leg. You must pay a $50 deposit in addition to the cost, then they keep an extra $12.99 resort fee. The room was clean though.

Tammy R — Google review

The hotel was nice, the rooms was spacious. I was, hoping to get a buffet but it apparently hasn't reopened since Covid. The little grill was okay, the line seemed to never end. It took a long time to get our food. One other complaint is that there isn't enough provisioning for handicapped people who can't walk very far. Some electric scooters would be very nice to get around in.

mgaudet111 — Google review

The only reason I'm giving this a four-star instead of a five is because my heat in my room didn't work when the outside temperature dropped down to about 30° and I don't like that the casino does not give you actual change back if they can replenish the bills section of the cash out machine then they should be able to give you the change back instead they want you to take the less than dollar Cash out tickets and put them in a donate tub for their local charities in which they again have done nothing for.The service and the people are amazing I was definitely more welcome there than when I stayed at the Gold strike about 5 years ago the people there are definitely super nice to me smoke was probably a third of what it was at Gold strike several years ago and I thoroughly like that considering that I'm a non-smoker I was extremely grateful that they also put me on a or what a peer to be a non-smoking floor and the rooms are well-walled and well insulated in which you don't hear a lot of what's going on outside or in the other rooms.I might actually come back in the winter or my off months just to hang out and chill they don't have a spa but that's okay I can live with that but they do have an awesome pool which is very kid friendly I think and the collectibles they have for the Hollywood stuff is also very very just nostalgic to sit and look at and take in.

Beth C — Google review

Loved the staff there and our rooms. The casino was great and it was nice just having a pool in side so you could gamble in the downstairs casino and then walk up to your room. I enjoyed having the free co*cktails and hubby enjoyed the free beer. We movie memorandum movie items Back to the future car Titanic Ship, Elvis Spin out car etc. It was all great. I recommend it. We will be back....

Nice clean casino with plenty of open tables. The room was very nice, beds were clean fresh and the mattress was one of the mor comfortable ones we have slept on. Nice indoor swimming pool with separate hot tub. Only complaints are lack of restaurants that are open during the week.

We enjoyed our stay just hope next time the buffet (renovations) is up and running and maybe I could win a few bucks. We stayed at Hollywood Hotel to visit Graceland. The staff was really nice, air was cold , showers hot and beds very comfortable.

Had some spare time over new years weekend and stopped by Hollywood Tunica for a couple hours. All we did was win win win. Very nice casino that wasn't crowded and everyone was friendly. It has some cool things to see like the Batmobile and the Delorean from Back to the future

Bruce C — Google review

My last room booked by my Host Sam was awesome and the best one yet. It was a 2 room King Suite with a separate living room, TV and wet bar and toilet, bedroom with a King sized bed, large tv,, bathroom with a jacuzzi, separate shower and another toilet in its own closet. Very nice. I'd love to have that one again.

Shonda ( — Google review

Very competitive hotel rate which was what first caught my attention. Why stay at the goldstrike for 100+ a night when Hollywood has rooms for 52 a night. Kids enjoyed the exhibitions and pool, which is indoors and stays open even if it is cold outside. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. They had only one blackjack table open so I had to wait every night 20-30 minutes until someone busted and a seat became available. They also closed the table at 1am. According to the dealer, they are having a hard time finding dealers that are willing to work after COVID and that's why they don't have more tables running and shut down early at 1am. It is what it is but overall a really good experience. I'll definitely visit again.

Irving G — Google review

Very friendly staff, good prices, and a nice vibe overall. Big open casino floor. Only wish the rooms had more outlets and the TVs had more channels or the option to stream.

Bryan W — Google review

Recently stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of this week. My room was not cleaned well and the rooms really need to be updated. You’ll noticed in the pictures stains on the furniture, a small dried blood spot in the sheets, and an uncleaned fridge. If you’re a local and want a quick getaway, are redeeming free nights, or just need somewhere to lay your head after a night of playing it will do, however I would not recommend these rooms.

Kimberly T — Google review

The slots were very frugle... They've update a lot of there slot machines but the bathrooms were disgusting. And that my friends is a dirty used glove inside the toilet seat liners what it was used for only GOD knows the answer to that question.....

I have to say, one of the best tours I've ever had. The employees are so knowledgeable about any questions you have and an over excellent experience. I suggest if you stop you pay the 10.00 for the tour bus ride to his boyhood home. It's worth your time.

A beautiful restoration of the boyhood home of the musical legend. We learned the history of the Dyess Colony. We admire the strength of those who were resettled there to build their families and their community, and understand how Johnny's music was formed from this upbringing.

charlieburkhardt — Google review

This place is out of the way but worth the drive. Interesting historical story beyond the boyhood home of Johnny Cash. If you remember the Great Depression program of the Government giving families 40 acres and a mule, this is one of the places where that program happened.

Landmark state park featuring Arkansas' tallest American Indian mounds, plus a visitors center.

Awesome little park very close to I-40. Stopped in to have a look at the Toltec Mounds. Staff were very friendly and informative. Grounds and facilities were well kept and clean. The boardwalk was closed due to damage, but we were still able to take a walk by the lake.

Aletse N — Google review

Don't wait like we did. Its fun, free and interesting. OK maybe not breathtaking like some sites but it's educational. Hard to imagine life so long ago. Viewing the 3 larger mounds that remain will mean very little if you skip the cool displays in the welcome center. Easy to walk (although today it was hot!) paved trail, many rest benches and a nice area over water to see cypress tress. Took us about 45 minutes to 1 hour total so time is not really an issue. Friendly staff also!

Vance H — Google review

This park offers an indoor museum and outdoor attractions near an oxbow of the Arkansas River. The park details the Toltec Indian burial mounds and offers a lot of information about the natives in the area and early native cultures in Arkansas. The whole thing can be experienced in about an 1.5 hours depending on what walking trail you take and how much time you spend in the museum. There are no fees associated with the park.

Nathan P — Google review

We loved it. It was so beautiful and peace and quiet. Just walking around you'll get lost in your thoughts that's how peaceful it is. We will definitely be back. Good place to get exercise as well. One trail is 3.5 miles and other is 1.5 miles. Also check out the store they have there as well.

Elizabeth M — Google review

Great display in the visitors center explaining the history of this area. Be sure and follow Knapp Trail to the boardwalk along Mound Lake to see the beautiful cypress trees.

Van K — Google review

Plum Bayou Mounds is a truly special place, full of history and natural beauty. The preserved mounds offer a window into the rich Native American culture that once thrived here, and the museum provides a great educational experience with its artifacts and interactive exhibits. The park itself is a peaceful oasis, with scenic hiking trails and serene surroundings. I highly recommend a visit to Plum Bayou Mounds to anyone interested in history and nature, it's a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed.

Chad — Google review

Another SP for the history buffs, if you like American Indian history then check this place out. It doesn't take long to see it all and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Only bad thing on this visit was the weather, cold & windy. Had a hawk fly over the mounds while we were there, kinda added to the aesthetics of the place. (last pic, look close, above mound)

Ron B — Google review

Interesting, educational and fun for kids. The outdoors trails lead past the mounds, along the bayou on a wooden walk bridge and through the nearby wood line. The marker plaques explain everything as you read along the way. The visitor center is full of interactive displays for children and adults alike.

Pete B — Google review

Nice trail even though the boardwalk was closed where the river is. The shop is cute and the displays were informative. There is a movie too we didn't watch.

Michelle M — Google review

Wonderful little park that we visit regularly. Lots of history and artifacts on display. Would be great if they’d fix the wooden water’s edge walkway that had a beautiful view. The observation deck has been closed for years. The omission of that portion of trail spoils the route.

R G — Google review

We made it down Toltec Rd 15 minutes before they opened and parked in some tiny drive area. The surrounding land is big fields. The park is very pretty whether on foot or taken in via motorized vehicle (a tram) with an interpreter to walk you through the various sites. The hills are large and the walkway to the water is beautiful with a close-up look at some awesome trees. The museum inside has hands-on exhibits that the kids enjoyed

Jesse N — Google review

This is currently a Free place to visit. Very nice place to stop and view the history of indeginous people from a thousand years ago. Very clean well maintained (road in a little rough) and staff was friendly. Nice visitor center and paved walking trail. We went in a 38 ft motorhome with a tow but had a very tight fit. Parking lot is not set up for campers so investigate before turning in.

Wendy B — Google review

Free to the public year round. Great place for a nature walk by the Arkansas River. Clean bathrooms inside the nature center, historical artifacts on display, and snacks and souvenirs for sale.

The William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum is located within the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas and honors the life of former U.S. President William J. Clinton. The museum offers exhibits on Clinton's time in office as well as his personal life, and features artifacts from both his presidency and his time spent as a governor of Arkansas.

Beautiful facility with rotating exhibit items and photo ops.Even though we went during a busy event day (spring break season AND a private function) we didn’t have to wait long for security. And we read ahead of time about health & safety protocols. So, that helped. My little kiddos are 5 & 11 - both enjoyed the library and exhibits for different reasons. You’ll spend about 2 hours here and no matter what, you’ll learn something or see something new.I was impressed by the table setting and Bill’s saxophones. Yes, there’s heavy-hitting news and history to read about. But some of the lighthearted items really spoke to me this visit. Maybe it humanizes the office. I’m not sure.5 stars now. 5 stars the first year it opened. And I’m guessing 5 stars when I return in the future, too.

Amber T — Google review

Such a neat experience. This building has several floors and so much to see, you could easily spend several hours here. They had a temporary woman's rights exhibit while we were visiting which was very informative and interesting. Aside for the historical part, the views from this building are amazing. There is a gorgeous, large park area to walk around outside that includes walking trails and a foot bridge over the river. We intend to come back to explore outside more!

Shelby — Google review

The library is awesome, even better than I expected! Gorgeous building and grounds- be sure to plan time to walk the gardens & railroad bridge. Wonderful volunteer staffers- very impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Informative tours- don’t miss the free tours, learned much, hits the highlights for those with limited time. Interesting exhibits- it’s not all reading, great exhibits! Great gift shop- impressed with selection, after we left, I wished I had purchased a few more things. The library was a highlight of our trip!

R. C — Google review

Price is reasonable. Sleek, modern building. Lots of memories of the 90's. Of course, it shows Clinton in the most positive light. No mention of Monica Lewinsky and other topics like Whitewater or the impeachment are glossed over. That being said, the exhibits are nicely arranged and it is a fitting tribute. My only beef is that guests are not allowed to take their own pictures in the replica oval office--you have to buy an overpriced picture package for that presidential privilege.

Michael M — Google review

One of the grandest Presidential libraries in America. Stunningly beautiful grounds. The school of public affairs is situated in an old train station waiting room, which has been renovated to perfection. The building is bound by the Arkansas River on one side and the city of Little Rock. There's a lovely outdoor cafe called 42. Don't hesitate to ask the wonderful volunteers for some stories about Bill Clinton's visits... they have plenty! .On the roof is his private putting green and apartment. They claim to see the top of his grey head often when he is there :) Wonderful place to bring the family.

Em S — Google review

How interesting! The gifts given to the Clinton's from other countries were amazing. The staff is remarkable. Very knowledgeable. The photo opportunity in the Oval Office is worth it. I thought that was the best part.

Joan C — Google review

The volunteer staff is very eager to help. One of them shared that there will be a multi-million dollar renovation. The long hall, organized by years, has a LOT of detail in the form of audiovisual screens. Unfortunately, the many audio tracks are competing with each other, and I had trouble hearing. My favorite section was upstairs, where the state dinner bling was displayed. Also upstairs, many artifacts from Bill’s and Hillary’s childhood. The gift shop had interesting and unique items for sale.

John E — Google review

The library is beautiful and so interesting to wander through. I love learning more of our American history. Grounds are wonderful, so much to see. It was busy the day we went, but everything seemed to move very smoothly. We spent a few hours there.

Theresa J — Google review

Tons of archive and documents. Vivid history of President Clinton and his administration. Really friendly stuff. Due to COVID, please make sure you bring either vaccine copy and wear a mask. If you can not show a phone copy of your vaccination paper, security will not let you in!

Lei W — Google review

We felt like the admission price was a little steep in combination with charging for a photo to sit in the replica oval office, but the photo is not obligatory and the facility was very nice and well-kept.I honestly wasn't expecting much out of the library, but was pleasantly surprised. I found the museum to be educational, thorough, and it had a nice mix of political and personal details to keep it engaging. We spent several hours in the museum and came away feeling educated and optimistic about the future of politics.

Allison B — Google review

Tickets are $12, and you’re able to visit the permanent archives and memorabilia and the temporary exhibits — I saw the one on dinosaurs with props from Jurassic Park! Parking is nearby, free, and easy. Great view of the river and city.

Starr C — Google review

A beautiful structure located by the river. The library offers a tour twice a day. Try to catch it and then go back to read what exhibits you want. Plenty of things to do to keep you busy for 2 hours. Not for young ones really. Too much reading to keep them engaged. A temporary dinosaur exhibit was there when we visited. Kids would like it, but 30 minutes tops.

Cameron C — Google review

Just visited the Clinton Library and Museum – what a trip! Parking was a breeze, and I'd recommend setting aside 2-3 hours to explore. The highlight? The replica of Oval Office, no doubt. It's like stepping into history. Take your time in the timeline exhibit too. A lot to soak in here. 🇺🇸📚

Sahaj P — Google review

This wasn’t the first presidential library I visited so I rated it one star less. My overall experience was great. I love how detailed everything was. Enjoyed reading about the history and seeing documents, memorabilia, how the oval office looked like to name a few. Did learn a lot of things during my visit and I loved the Dino Exhibit. It was great for kids and adult alike. Took off one star because we weren’t allowed to take a photo at the oval office unless we pay extra. Also, comparing this to other Presidential Libraries, I think it was small. Other than that, I had fun visiting this place and would highly recommend it if you happen to be in the area.

F&I — Google review

Visited with my daughter at the beginning of this month. She’s five, so it’s not always easy to bring young children to history-type museums so I was extremely happy to find out their were also having a dinosaur exhibit, that really sold it for her! I’m not the biggest history buff so what initially attracted me was the exterior and interior architecture. This was my first time in a presidential museum and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Granted, we did not stay the amount of time needed to truly soak in all of the history, but such is expected with small children. The dinosaur exhibit was interactive and plentiful, they made good use of today’s technology such as machine that turns drawings into 3D dinosaurs on the screen.Shout out to all of the staff who made us feel very welcomed, interacting with my daughter. And a special shout out to the gentleman at the gift shop who have her a printed photograph of a cat, she loves that.

Ana G — Google review

Regardless of your political persuasion this is a fascinating return to the days before COVID, 911 and school shootings when it almost seemed like world peace was possible given moderate Soviet leaders. It bypasses the scandals of Clintons indiscretions focusing on the challenges and accomplishments. No one is all good or all bad. This is well worth the visit if you value historical perspectives. Give yourself three hours to walk through the linear progression through the Clinton Whitehouse years.

M H — Google review

I am comparing this to other newer Presidential museums. The introductory film is a good starter and shows Mr. Clinton’s style. This museum is almost exclusively a very detailed study of the accomplishments and challenges of the Clinton administration. I am a fan, so was impressed with all that was accomplished, but would have liked to know more about his early life, family and challenges he faced. Perhaps more on Hillary’s early life also. If you were interested, you could probably read the displays for days. We enjoyed the state dinner wing with the gifts and other details. The pictures in the displays are very insightful and revealing. The facility is beautiful, and the slightly upper scale restaurant is very good. Volunteer staff was very helpful. Large onsite, free parking.

Beautifully laid out library. We got on an amazing tour lead by Joyce. Very informative. Tour lasted hour and a half. Highly recommend the tour if you Have time. Take a walk across the bridge. Great views of the museum and Arkansas River.

I really enjoyed this museum! I found flipping through the daily schedule books fascinating, and enjoyed learning more about the presidency of Bill Clinton. The staff there was also very knowledgeable and I appreciated the stories and insights they shared.

Was really nice. Kids really enjoyed. So did we seeing the artifacts gifted, letters written. The bridge nearby and the 35 acres around for kids to run and ay. It's very well maintained. The staff And volunteers are knowledgeable and so kind. They take their time in explaining everything so well.

Shruti S — Google review

Very well done. Library is broken down by issue and year. Cool to see the gifts received from foreign leaders during state visits. The restaurant (42) has excellent food at reasonable prices.

Rush H — Google review

We went on a Tuesday. It was lovely and fairly less crowded. We really liked the new installation on the 3rd floor that showed more about state visits / dinners and the Chuily display. The gifts from other countries were amazing to see as well. Gorgeous! The staff was amazing and so very friendly. Plan on bringing your walking shoes to also enjoy the park and bridge. And, have lunch at Restaurant 42. The views are also amazing!

Julie P — Google review

Our elementary school took a guided tour field trip and we were able to view the dinosaur exhibit which was really awesome! We enjoyed the presidential memorabilia, history, and art! All of the kids and parents had a wonderful time! Also make time to walk around outside and see the statues, walk over the bridge, hangout by the old train station. Plus you’re right by all the good restaurants downtown, and the Museum of discovery which is great for kids!

Joni A — Google review

I was pleasantly surprised by how interesting I found going to this place. I was traveling with a friend who loves visiting the presidential libraries and we had time to kill so we decided why not. It was an amazing experience that brought back a lot of memories of the 90s to me. Definitely recommend stopping.

Stacy P — Google review

This is a must see if you are passing through or live in the area. First Presidential Library visit, our young kids had fun and there are a variety of exhibits each touching a different topic. Its a quick 2 hour visit to see everything. Was not busy when we got there. The volunteers were very nice and had great stories but also gave us plenty of space. Made me want to visit more of these.

Thomas O — Google review

We arrived at the Bill Clinton Presidential Library on a Friday around 10:00 a.m. It is a beautiful modern library from the outside. We had to go through a security check. We purchased our tickets. We were not given a commemorative ticket just a sticker. The other 10 presidential libraries we have been to give you a beautiful ticket/souvenir with a picture of the library and the date on it. We were told they only give out the commemorative ticket when it is a special occasion. Also their printer was not working. All the volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. We were told to start with the movie were Bill Clinton talks about his childhood and his road to the White House. After the movie it was a little confusing. They want you to start with the Clinton's White House years. We wanted to start with Bill's childhood and work up to the White House years. There are two floors to the library. The map is helpful. The library has a lot of glass windows and glass displays. It was difficult to photograph because of the reflecting light. Also the quotes are in sliver letters. We learned a lot about the Clintons. There is a replica of the President Clinton's oval office. The doorways are roped off. You can only go inside the oval office if you want you picture taken behind the desk. The cost is $14.00-$16.00. That's more than the admission fee for the library. Afterwards we walked around the outside of the library. We also walked on the Clinton Presidential Bridge. You get a different view of the library from the bridge. The library and the walk took about 2 – 3 hours.

Food court

Shopping

The River Market District in Little Rock is a popular destination for food lovers with a variety of eateries and stalls to choose from. The market hall is an open concept building with food stalls, coffee vendors, groceries, and take-out options. In addition to the food court, the district features a twice-weekly farmer's market as well as frequent concerts.

Delicious food options

Kadie W — Google review

The River Market was nearly completely devoid of people on our Saturday afternoon visit. While the place might be quite entertaining during the summer, it is rather lifeless in the winter. The Middle East Mediterranean place did have fantastic food and incredibly friendly service!

Dan B — Google review

Went on a Saturday and it was oddly very empty….there was no farmers market just a few restaurants open

Lauren ( — Google review

I don’t understand how anyone would consider this small rundown venue a “world class international market”…… the inside is 25 years dated…. Most shops and booths are abandoned, trashy, or closed. The shops they do have offers food that tastes like fast food versions of international dishes. There’s a homeless camp in front of and behind the venue. the outdoor seating is sad (old metal tables placed haphazardly on the concrete area behind the venue). Hours of operation are never accurate. there’s trash thrown all over the place. I dunno….. seems like a struggling venue with limited options.

Justin S — Google review

Food was delicious from the Thai restaurant. Great choices and all very good. Sadly ,there was usually one person working each booth. This made for long waits for food. Great place if you aren’t in a hurry.

Very cool river front area with great walk way with sculptures, flowers, kids area and great view points. Lots of shade and benches to rest . Many ships and bars on the main street too

John H — Google review

It was great but a lot of the stalls weren't open on the weekdays. It was a nice spot to go get a quick lunch! I enjoyed the BBQ and the Vietnamese spot.

Really awesome experience to be able to walk around and then walk into a nice food court sit down after you choose what you want to eat right across the way is a nice candy shop as well it's really an all-around cool experience if you like walking and shopping in Windows it's really wonderful food was really good I ate at the Mexican place that's inside there the street corn was phenomenal nice and clean in there

Joey S — Google review

A nice farmer's market offering local produce and goods. Located under two covered vendor areas, this downtown river market is a fun way to spend a Saturday morning! Bicycle rentals and a ton of restaurants along with a food hall are just feet away.

Jared W — Google review

Little Rock River Market is a fun place to get out and walk around. You can get the most beautiful views of Downtown from the Junction Bridge (a pedestrian bridge). There are many fun things to do in this area as well as several great restaurants.

One third of the vendors in food court were still closed. We ordered from Mexican and Thai food.Thai curry was spicy and the tacos were ok .Love the park nearby with many fun sculptures.

The Old Mill is a popular tourist destination in Little Rock, Arkansas, that depicts an 1800s-style water mill surrounded by lush landscaping and three acres of sculptures created by renowned artist Senor Dionicio Rodriguez. The park is well-known for its picturesque setting and the Old Mill itself has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Was easy to find. Very beautiful and relaxing. Is an oasis in the middle of a city/metropolitan area. We went the 3rd week of May and everything was green and blooming. We were there around 3:00pm on a Monday and a few people were there but not many. As it got later and school let out more people showed up. As this is right in a neighborhood we saw several people out walking/walking their dogs near the entrance. We spent about an hour and thoroughly enjoyed it. A lovely spot to take your lunch/dinner (or even breakfast-check their hours first-I didn't notice what time open/close is) and enjoy listening to the water running. There was plenty of seating, a picnic table, and public restrooms. Some areas were handicap accessible. We will definitely stop back by when we visit that area again.

Dolly G — Google review

Absolutely magical place with free admission! Free parking along the street. Some pathways, steps and bridges can be a little uneven, so need to have good balance. There are some places to sit near the entrance just to get a nice view if you are not able to walk. Great place for photography, family outings, romantic place to bring a date. I saw beautiful flowers, ducks, turtles and butterflies, and it isn't even officially spring yet! Would love to return in the summertime.

Julie H — Google review

What an absolutely beautiful location with so much to explore in an otherwise quiet residential area. There is a lot packed in this space including the mill building that you can explore, rock bridge where the sunset shows through, multiple waterfalls, a cool sculpture, and a decked building overlooking the entire property. It was rather busy on an unusually warm winter day, but we didn't mind. Was well worth stopping and checking out. We covered everything there in about 45 minutes with two 10 year olds in tow.

Amanda M — Google review

I enjoyed walking around. Restrooms were decent . It was super hot today so make sure to bring a hat or sunglasses and have water. We didn't explore too far out since we have toddlers but it's best not to bring a stroller since it's hard to get around in it. Very narrow pathways . Keep your kiddos close . There isn't many safe fences surrounding the water . Very beautiful to visit though. Parking is easy. Along the side of road of The Old Mill.

Amber J — Google review

Pictures and videos do not do The Old Mill justice. It is absolutely breathtaking, like a scene out of a movie! It is perfect for family pictures, a picnic, or just going to sit think/read/journal. It is a must see while in Little Rock!

Misty B — Google review

A perfect place for a lazy walk while enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, to decompress and gather your thoughts. Weekdays is most likely the perfect time for such goal and less crowd.

The E — Google review

The Old Mill is so beautiful! If you are looking for a place to take prom photos, senior photos, engagement photos, family photos…. Take all the photos here! The grounds are well maintained, the turtles and ducks swim right up to you. The bridge is super cool and the old mill really is beautiful. There were some other people but not super crowded everyone gave each other their space here.

Courtney P — Google review

I can’t express how blissful place is this! We spent a late afternoon there. We absolutely loved it. It was overcrowded when we visited there, so highly recommend visiting this during earlier time of weekdays. The sitting areas and bridges are so awesome and unique. Wish we could spend more time there.

My wife and I visited "The Old Mill" last week, and we were instantly captivated by its peaceful ambiance. Established in 1853, this historic gem offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It's the perfect spot for a tranquil retreat. Highly recommended

Ranjit S — Google review

My wife and I visited The Old Mill during a cross country trip from California to South Carolina. What a beautiful spot! The mill is a re-creation of an 1880s water-powered grist mill and is in the opening scenes of the classic film Gone With the Wind. I didn't know either of these facts when we visited it, but found out later on the North Little Rock website. Visitors can walk a lovely garden path down to the mill, then over a rustic bridge that offers a gorgeous view of Lake Number Two. Benches are placed throughout the gardens so that visitors can sit for a while and soak in all the beauty of the place. It truly does look like something out of a fairy tale.

Greg S — Google review

Absolutely gorgeous! It was very easy to find and had easy street parking. This is well worth a visit since it is free and very pretty. There are multiple little bridges to cross and flowers everywhere. Wonderful place to take pictures or just walk around and enjoy the scenery.

Shawnna M — Google review

The Old Mill is a beautiful garden, very peaceful and relaxing. We even had a picnic at the picnic tables. The property is very well maintained, I love seeing places like this being taken care of. Just Gorgeous!

What a sweet little park. It's right in the middle of a neighborhood. It's a jem.It was very overcast the day we visited, but still a beautiful setting. Some hidden speakers with some soft music playing and a hammock, I would have never left.

James F — Google review

Cute area to visit with beautiful views. It's well taken care of, with lovely flowers everywhere, and we enjoyed walking around in the mill house and the several small bridges. I recommend it and would come back again.

Katyuscka C — Google review

What a beautiful experience. Very calm and quiet. Some of the most unique natural bridges and trees there. They have the old mill which still functions, although I don’t believe is used for other than decoration. Nice spot to relax and it has public bathrooms and easy parking.

James M — Google review

Awesome little park. Spent 30 minutes exploring the grounds. Very picturesque and great landscaping. Enjoyed all the little bridges and nooks and crannies. Kids would love it - no pups allowed.

N F — Google review

A beautiful place straight out of a fairy tale, it is peaceful, colorful and full of animal weddings everywhere. A quiet neighborhood next to the lake, if you want to relax and spend some quiet time admiring beautiful landscapes, this could be your place.

Marcell P — Google review

I'm disappointed about the Old Mill because I went twice to see it and twice I couldn't find any parking. I went at different times of the day, early morning and late afternoon, neither had parking available without walking nearly two blocks. The Capitol was the same way. I didn't see handicap parking nor could I tell if they had a ramp. I'll try again next time I visit. The area around it is beautiful. What we Texans call the Ritzy neighborhood. High dollar houses, cars, and manicured lawns with multiple flower beds and not your typical flowers. One house had Azaleas for their bushes and they were in full bloom. They were gorgeous. So the neighborhood around the mill I would give 4 stars to. If you're young and in shape this place would be easy to visit. I'm not either so that's my review and opinion.

Jodi ( — Google review

This is a beautiful historic park in the middle of North Little Rock. Great for photos and we saw a wedding there today. Excellent views and the horticulture is immaculate!

Chris O — Google review

Make this a must-see stop on your next trip to Little Rock. A friend of the family recommended that we visit this quaint spot on our trip to the capitol, and we are so thankful we took her advice! It's the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic lunch, a stroll with a loved one, or to simply sit on one of the many benches and enjoy revelling in the natural surroundings. One young couple we saw had spread out a blanket in the dappled sunshine and were reading a book. We saw five or six families and couples enjoying photo-shoots while we were there, as this is one of the most picturesque parks we've ever visited. Whether you have 10 minutes to spare, or 2 hours, you'll be glad you came to The Old Mill.

Dan B — Google review

Old Mill is our favorite place to feed the ducks, turtles and walk around. It’s also a beautiful place to get married, take bridal portraits, maternity photos, and family pictures. I’ve done all of the above. It’s also very gorgeous when it snows. And in the spring Master Gardeners have beautiful flowers and landscaping!

Historical landmark

Sights & Landmarks

The Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site commemorates the pivotal event of the Brown vs. Board of Education case in 1957, when nine black students enrolled at the school after the government decreed that all schools must be integrated. The site offers interactive exhibits and a visitor center with guided tours, free of charge, open Tuesday through Saturday.

This site goes well beyond information strictly pertaining to the high school. It also covers women’s rights, workers’ rights, etc - because we’re not free until we’re all free. The ranger who met me at the door was obviously passionate and helpful. The NPS app is a helpful addition, especially to visiting the grounds. I wish I had planned ahead better, so that I would be able to take a guided tour.Beyond worth your time.

Victoria E — Google review

Such an incredible landmark to visit. Also amazing is that it's still a functioning high school.Kids were coming in and out of the front while our park ranger was giving us a tour from the outside. Presentation was given on the front steps.Everyone should visit to better understand how segregation was, sadly, started in America. The path was long and horrendous but the students that endured the unspeakable torment made it possible for so many more to move forward.

Toby M — Google review

Ranger Randy was the absolute BEST. He brought the tour as close to being there when it occurred as humanly possible. I was there based on his detailed explanation of events and situations the nine students faced It was chilling, to say the least, but he did not hold back a single detail or try and sugarcoat the situation He told the history and warned everyone up front, if you are here for a happy and sweet story, this is not that tour It was the BEST and most informative tour I have been on, and since I am retired, I have attended many of them Well, Done, Randy, and I HIGHLY Recommend if you are planning to take this tour and you get Randy, get ready to find yourself, regardless of race, creed, or color, literally standing on the streets and steps of history and feeling like you are really a part of it Well Done!!! v/r, Dr. K. King

If you are in Little Rock this is a must stop! There is something for everyone learn about what happened to the "Little Rock Nine". Very eye opening experience!

Barb D — Google review

The ranger Ranger Randy Dotson is so knowledgeable and passionate, the tour was almost 3 hours all for free i arrived 8 minutes before it started without a reservation it was my lucky day they took me in.

Freedomat51Rock — Google review

Wonderful experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Wish we were able to enter the school.

Amarie S — Google review

We did not get to visit the museum as it was closed the day we were there, but just visiting the building was amazing. Central's history of public school racial integration was what brought us here and that would have been enough, but upon seeing the actual structure, we were blown away by the architecture and were compelled to research it's history, which I encourage you to do. It gives even more depth to the meaning of the events that took place, besides being fascinating in itself. Such a beautiful place that has obviously been taken very good care of- it's so gratifying to see that an important historical landmark will live on for a long time so others may visit.

Charissa H — Google review

Amazing site to go to and learn the history of the Little Rock Nine. The museum is informative with videos and articles/artifacts. If you're looking to visit a national historic site I'd highly recommend.

Roger A — Google review

The Visitor Center was was closed when we were there, but there was still parking available. Since the school is still in use today, it is free and open to the public to walk around outside. There are several statues and walkways. It was moving to be able to walk up the same step were history was made decades ago.

Bonnie R — Google review

The school is enormous! Majestic! The Visitor Center was awesome. Nice gift shop. Very interactive and educational! The Little Rock Nine are... heroic... worthy of honor!

Jenny K — Google review

We took the guided tour. It was about 2 hours but well worth it! The Junior Ranger book here is much more inline with the park than most parks as well. Plan on a minimum of 3-4 hours to get the tour and do the museum. Absolutely recommend!

Dustin J — Google review

It was very interesting. Our 11 year old granddaughter got a chance to learn about her hometown and even earn her Jr. Ranger badge.

CHERYL P — Google review

Great place to visit to see history. The ranger was great.

Dave H — Google review

I stopped by here on my way east. Intresting place even if it is woke. They have a junior ranger program but to compleat it would take quite a while. There is an old gas station across the stree that looks just like it did in the 1950s. This is a free national hiatoric site. There are a lot of intresting videos inside.

Moving R — Google review

The staff was so friendly and really seemed to enjoy their work. This is a most for any national park lover and so educational about the history of our country.

Allie A — Google review

As a kid of lived through my own desegregation trauma...I simply couldn't drive through Little Rock and not see the famed building that was one of the first proving grounds of the Supreme Court's desegregation order! I am glad I did. I didn't know the National Parks Service had designated it as a landmark and had a visitor center with exhibits nearby. What I thought would be a quick snapshot in front of the building turned into an emotional roller-coaster and an opportunity to walk among history.

Michael S — Google review

There are no words to describe this amazing piece of US history. Go on a guided tour- a ranger-led interpretive tour will give you so much more perspective/information than just visiting the visitor center. To walk in the footsteps of the 9 black students, the National Guard, the police, the media, the federal troops, the teachers, and the white students is one of the most sobering and provocative experiences that I've ever had. The school is still an active high school, so you can't go inside on a tour. Just walking the grounds is powerful. The history this school has seen.

Wendy R — Google review

The high school is still an operating high school, so there are necessary restrictions when visiting the site, but the Visitor Center at the National Historic Site is a treasure trove of incredible information about the Little Rock Nine and the entire Civil Rights Movement before and after. The staff at the Visitor Center are incredibly helpful and informative.

Bodies of Water

Created by the damming of the Little Red River in 1962, this reservoir flooded the town of Higden.

Great lake!! Fishing is always good. Water is way down compared to normal so watch for stumps! Lot of marinas to choose from and go to.

Sarah ( — Google review

My wife grew up camping at Choctaw as a kid in the 60’s. Her dad helped build the electric substation at the dam and then the transmission line out of it. He watched the lake fill. We got married in 1974 and started camping there. From Choctaw, to Sugar Loaf, to the Narrows and ended up for yrs at Devils Fork. We said one day we would have a place on the lake. In 2014 our dream came true. Love this lake, great people, beautiful mountains

This lake is pretty big and not very crowded with boats. The lake is super deep due to the dam. Go visit the fish hackery it is awesome to see all the fish at various ages ready to stock the river.

Beautiful lake, beautiful part of the country.

Lots of fun! I don’t like big crowds for things like this but you really can’t tell all that much here. There are lower parts of the cliff for kids (or you if you’re not ready for the big one) and it gradually gets higher till... the big boy jump. It’s not as bad as it looks from the top. Just jump, you won’t regret it!

Loved our vacation here. Good fishing. Nice lake to tool around in a boat. Lots of marinas (we used Fairfield Bay Marina and loved it.) The shoreline is wooded and pretty. There is an island in the middle that you can access by canoe or ferry. Water was very clean. Very enjoyable.

Our favorit Arkansas lake. Lake is clean and as plenty to do. No matter if you like skiing, tubing or fishing this lake has it all. Plenty of marinas located around the lake to refuel or grab a quick bite to eat. Don't forget to grab a souvenir t-shirt every marina has their own unique selection. Great 4th of July firework shows also.

State park

Nature & Parks

Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a beautiful state park located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The park has hiking trails that offer amazing views of the city and surrounding areas. There is also a visitor center and arboretum onsite, making it a great place to visit if you're interested in nature or hiking.

Pinnacle Mountain State Park is an absolute must see if you are in the area! The park is beautiful, has tons of trails and water access, and offers some of the best views near Little Rock! My favorite place to hike is the Pinnacle Mountain West Summit Trailhead since it has a decent grade, wonderful views, and has a bit of a scramble up the boulder field to get to the top. Pinnacle Mountain is the only place I have ever hiked both the sunrise and sunset on the same day due to the proximity to the Maumelle Park Campground I stayed at. The sunset at the top is one of the best I have seen across the country, and it feels like you are somewhere tropical with the colors of the trees and sky you can get when the sun is setting over the ridge. I cannot recommend this park and these views enough if you are around Little Rock!

Jeremy J — Google review

This trail is not for inexperienced hikers. The trails begins fairly easy at the beginning and as you’re going up, you’ll need your hands to help you climb. I didn’t get bit by any bugs, although I saw a green poisonous snake. Luckily the other hikers warned me before I was about to step on the snake. When you’ve climbed your way to the very top, a fantastic view awaits you. Make sure to wear appropriate shoes, bring loads of water and snacks. I loved this trail and you will as well!!

Mary — Google review

Pinnacle mountain hiking trail is an absolute must-see! A spectacular location with incredible views and plenty of opportunities for exploration. The trail is well-marked and easy to navigate, with plenty of parking available. The scenery is breathtaking. There's plenty of wildlife to spot in the area. My German shepherd really enjoy it. I highly recommend it - an unforgettable adventure! Five stars for sure!

Charlie G — Google review

A beautiful state park. Free! The hikes are easy, a nice walk. The views are some of the best in the country. They have good trails for biking as well. Lots of ground to cover. The lake is gorgeous. Water looks good. They have pavilions or places to have a cookout or barbecue. A playground for the kids, bathrooms, small pier for viewing, canoe rentals, and more trails to walk through the woods. My family really enjoyed this park. Look forward to our next visit!

Vince M — Google review

Very nice hike to the summit. Clearly marked trail, even when it becomes boulder steps. More area at the summit than expected. You can make this as difficult as you like by increasing pace, or go slow. I went up and back in under 30 minutes, but I can see going at a slower more leisurely pace and enjoy the surroundings. The park itself looks like a great place for a family outing or group gathering.

Nate H — Google review

We went on the West Summit trail and hiked on a clear day! Very steep at the top with lots of rocks. I highly recommend wearing hiking boots and be careful with leaves on rocks as they are slick. I almost slipped! Overall took about 1.5 hours for us. Worth the view!

Jaja C — Google review

Beautiful park! Lots of hiking trails of varying lengths and difficulty. Some paved some not. There's lots of rock formations, a quarry, mountain, and a few overlooks as well. Last minute addition to our trip but so glad we added it!

Amanda B — Google review

Nice State Park. Lots of trails to go on. Theres a alligator that is happy in a big aquarium inside the vistors center. Park is clean and theres a small lake that looks like a painting.

Chad S — Google review

Beautiful. I've never taken the hard trail but the easier one is a piece of cake. Id say takes roughly 1hr 45 min for the average person to reach the top. I do wish It was easier to get to the edge when up there but hey, its beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and their is also a playground for kids. Plenty of grills and picnic tables also.

Alisha H — Google review

The hike takes about 30-50 minutes each way. Decently steep too, on the last 400ft up. All boulders throughout the section. Fun little hike to knock out if you’re in the Little Rock area with some extra time

Jake E — Google review

We were very surprised upon our arrival at the size of this park, but really enjoyed our visit. The park ranger advised us that the West side summit trail was a little easier and not as steep. Nice park store, and we enjoyed our hike to the overlook area of the River. We were excited to see that the 223 mile Ouachita Trailhead is located here. Don't think it is an easy 1.5 mile hike up the mountain! It's very rough and you are climbing straight up and over HUGE boulders through at least a mile of the trail. It's very worth it once you get to the top, but we seen several dogs loosing their footing sliding down the rocks, and a couple of people in flip flops falling. It's important to bring PLENTY of water, and proper shoes! I know that my picture of the rocks looks flat, but that's looking almost at a straight up incline that you are climbing up to the summit!

Tena J — Google review

My daughter (12 y/o) and I visit Pinnacle Mountain at least once or twice a year and have been doing this for the past 4 years. The hike is moderate to strenuous but the view at the top is wonderful. There are other trails and a beautiful park that has a playground for kids.Take plenty of water (we have a camelback) and a bag to carry your trash as there isn’t a trash can along the trail. My daughter and I also pack a few snacks to eat when we get to the top.I do want to state that we have stumbled upon 3 snakes (non-venomous) on or along the trail so, be careful and keep an eye out. We respected them and left them alone. I posted videos of them on my YouTube channel.

Jennifer A — Google review

There are a lot of nice trails here. This is a beautiful state park. The people at the visitor center are really nice and you will find a lot of other hikers here to offer you advice along the way. Each trail is Walmart and very clean. I will give some recommendations on which hikes to do for each type of person that might come here.If you are inexperienced at hiking, or if you are in a wheelchair or want to be on a paved path instead of a rocky or dirt path, you can take the Rocky Valley Trail. There’s a nice view at the top and it’s easily accessible by the parking lot in the visitor center which may be easier for you to park in because the other parking lots are smaller. If you are a beginner hiker, you can take the bass trail, which is the green trail and hike as far as you want and then turn back and go back to your car. There is a few rocks on the ground but it’s mostly a dirt trail. If you want a little bit of an adventure, you could take the West Summit Trail, which is the yellow trail up to the top of the mountain. It only really gets difficult in the second half where you have to go up some stone steps or some rocks that are placed like steps. once you get to the top, it will all be worth it. I don’t expect it would be that much more difficult than taking a long big staircase. Then you can turn around and go back to your car. Finally, for an experienced hiker, you should park at the west summit entrance, and then use the base trail to go around the south side of the mountain to the east summit entrance, and then climb the mountain from the east and descend from the west. This is the red trail. Then your car will be right there waiting when you get done with the mountain. This took my wife and I exactly 4 hours and we are Relatively inexperienced hikers. It’s the most fun hike I’ve ever been on.

It is a good park for children, with a large area to play soccer or outdoor games, the restrooms are next to the play area, there’s vending machines for drinks, in case you forget yours.

Nydya R — Google review

We had a great hike this morning with some good friends and beautiful views on the way up and at the top. Definitely worth the trip.

Erik H — Google review

This was pretty intense, and we took the yellow path. There's a red, way more challenging path. Beautiful views, totally worth the climb. Make sure you bring water and have time to complete.

Pinnacle Mountain is so beautiful. Great place to hike, bike, enjoy nature and the view. Our family loves it here! Today we went hiking East Summit Trail and I only made it up 3/4 way because it was so steep and rocky but I had fun!

Joni A — Google review

My absolute favorite hiking spot! It's gorgeous and while sometimes it can be busy, everyone respects everyone else. It can be a bit of a moderate hike in some places, especially a few scrambles on the west side. The views alone are all worth it. Great place to take a pup too!

Kayla F — Google review

Had so much fun. We went for the little.5 my loop after visiting the visitor center. The guidance is there. That had a playground as well so the kids had a blast. Most definitely recommend going there if you have young ones. It's a simple loop you get to see wildlife you get to see the water you get to see the greenery. And you get to go to a playground. They had some restrooms there as well.

Shruti S — Google review

Great park. Very well maintained trails and recreation areas. The view from the summit is glorious on a clear day

Mark J — Google review

Nice park outside Little Rock that’s clean and has solid hiking. Climbing the mountain and the 360 views was fun yet challenging.

FFKDTP1 — Google review

We walked up to the viewing area and checked out the visitors center. They have some very interesting displays and a deck for viewing. There is a small gift shop and clean restrooms. We also really enjoyed waking the paths in the Arksnsas Arboretum right up the road!

Black S — Google review

I only got to spend half a day exploring this park, mostly driving through. Very nice place with modern facilities plus friendly people when I came across them. I did stop on 2 short trails with over looks.

B L — Google review

Clean & rugged area. The quarry area was blocked off. The state park closes 1 hour after sunset. All areas free to explore. Lots of cypress trees in los areas and scenic views higher up. I frequent this area and find it to never be crowded like many of the others in the state.

Christina T — Google review

I'm not sure how well marked the trails are, but you would struggle to get lost.We went up the "easy" side and still found it pretty challenging for people who don't hike a lot.The view from the top of the Arkansas River was stellar.

Jon B — Google review

The hike was not too bad but you definitely need to bring water and be able to step over and on large rocks. We had a great time.

George L — Google review

Quiet and beautiful surroundings. Great place to commune with God.Pinnacle has playground, walking trails, and restrooms.Really busy on spring and summer holidays.

Lakeside natural area with boat rental & launching, campsites, hiking trails, showers & a snack bar.

We spent the 2024 eclipse at the park. The facilities were clean, the water was beautiful and clear. My grandson wnjoyed swimming and playing on the playground. The staff was wonderful and helpful. It truly was a hidden gem. The camping sites looked lovely for both tent and campers there were several trails to hike.

Beautiful early Spring day.Took the hike all the way around the Lake. I bet it's busy when it's hot!Not much wildlife since the area had a recent prescribed burn. But it'll surely please!Mig loved it too!🐾#EmBARKingwithMig

Steve H — Google review

Woolly hollow state park is a really nice park. There is a trail to walk with benches along the trail. You can fish around the lake and swim at the beach area. Very clean showers and restrooms up the hill not a bad walk to it. There are swings and a snack shop for the folks that do not want to drive into town. There are plenty of tables for families to picnic at and there is also a pavilion you can rent for bigger parties. I will update after my stay there I am going to dry camp for 12 days. They do accept the America the beautiful card for disabled folks I think it is half off the original price.

Great place to hike and camp! The huckleberry trail is very pretty. I went when after it rained so the water was rolling good

Chloe S — Google review

Beautiful park! Well maintained and lots of room to spread out! Showers and bathrooms were immaculate. Had the best morning ever just sitting outside drinking coffee and watching all the beautiful birds!

Jonette S — Google review

A nice quiet park with camp sites and a small lake. I especially like the Huckleberry Trail. A nice easy trail with wooden foot bridges over the creeks. If you go the day after a rain there is a waterfall to see.

Steve B — Google review

Our first trip here. Nice full hookup sites, a few primitive tent spots. Beautiful fall leaves, very peaceful during the week. Husband enjoyed the challenging 9.5miles of mountain biking trails. Clean modern bathrooms. Great 2 day trip.

Doreen C — Google review

Lake is pretty low right now, but the hiking and bike trails are fantastic, and very popular. Full hook-ups for motor homes and trailers, plus camping sites.

David C — Google review

Very clean and quiet. Went fishing but didn’t catch anything. Great place for kids to play and hiking.

Kim W — Google review

We stayed over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We have three young children who enjoyed riding around the park on their bikes, playing at the playground, viewing the cabin and hiking. The camp sites are spacious and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Stephanie S — Google review

Lovely in early spring or fall. Gets a bit crowded as it warms up especially on the weekend but not bad during the week. Beautiful body of water and lots of trails. Clean restrooms. Great place for dogs on a leash.

Stephen M — Google review

Visited this park on our way to another park. Good looking park. Great place to just relax. Not much to do other than trails, swimming, fishing, but that's a plus for us. The staff at the visitors center was very friendly and helpful. The place seems small, but that was a plus on the appeal side for us. Clean sites and didn't look too pack together. The whole place was very well maintained by the looks of it.Definitely coming back, but not before we get the rest of our passport stamps. 26 more to go....

Ron B — Google review

Go in Spring you won't be disappointed. The falls are beautiful. Lots of rocks to climb on. The Rangers are so nice and the park is very clean. Lots of picnic tables. If you want to camp I understand you have to make reservations a couple of months in advance

This place is a beautiful facility with old time feels. Shops that show you trade skills back in the day, and also you can purchase the items they make. They have blue grass and folk being performed thru the day. The theater has local talent and also some famous bluegrass bands that come in. Staff are always friendly. This is very worthwhile to visit if your in the area. Tickets are great price too and they offer yearly pass for an option too.

My husband, granddaughter and I stayed a weekend here in September. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. The crafts are a must on a Saturday. The little cottages were nice and clean. The people are so friendly. We will definitely be coming back for another weekend.

Sissy M — Google review

I visited the Arkansas Folk Center with my son and two grandsons (2 & 5) today. It was well worth the trip!We enjoyed visiting the leather shop and then going to the pottery shop where the older grandson created a snake from clay! Then we settled in to hear the BEST music I have heard in some time! It was refreshing! All smiles from our crew as we listened to a trio that was fantastic! I do have to say we were all in awe of the 11 year old young lady (Charline) that played the fiddle, sang and did a “heck” of a jig dance!Thank you—-we’ll be back,

Linda M — Google review

Amazing!! Beautiful facility and music that's unbelievably awesome! Staff were all helpful and kind. Set in a beautiful spot, this is a must stop of you're in the mountain view area.

Bethanyk — Google review

The "Cabins" were amazing! We for sure will be back to this wonderful room!

Dillon F — Google review

We enjoyed Ozark Folk Center, I think if we went on the weekend there would be much more going on. However we really enjoyed it. All of the craftsmen are individual business owners so be sure to patronize them. I loved the log cabin with the rock gardens and root cellar. The restaurant wasn’t open and a few other areas weren’t either. Blacksmithing, broom making, stained glass, knife making, Pottery making, printing press, hand bows, painting, herbalist, live bluegrass music, etc, all very interesting. I will probably go back later in the week when there’s a little more action but we still saw a lot. If you show them your Blanchard Springs Cavern ticket you get a discount! I think it save us $4 each!

Melynni O — Google review

Awesome staff!! Great learning experience! Toe tapping music. The group Harmony was playing when we arrived and after their set they visited with us for 20 mins of their break. Great folks. Very cool crafts. Plan on spending money when you see what they are making. We spent about 4 hours looking around. Great fun and entertainment. Will return soon.

Brian M — Google review

Wonderful visit and we really enjoyed speaking with many of the artisans. We learned so much. My personal favorites were glass art, apothecary, copper and blacksmith. The gentleman in knife shop had some fun stories too. Great music as well.

Candi — Google review

It is a place everyone who visits arkansas shoud see. To hear the stories of how things were done and to be able to buy handcrafted merchandise is really neat. Check out the broom store, apothecary, blacksmith, bronze working, and so many more!

Gerald H — Google review

Our entire family had a fantastic day here! What a find! Make sure you have lots of time and some pocket money, because you *will* want to see everything, and you *will* find something you just can’t wait to take home.

Amber G — Google review

Very fun place to spend a few hours! Cute little shops where people display their wares and you can also watch them make stuff. Watching The Ozark Strangers was by far my favorite.👍🏻 Would love to go back in the future to see more of their performances.

We went for the banjo and fiddle competition. FYI, parking is in a lower lot with shuttle service up the hill. Good gift store and the craft village seems worth a visit. Due to the distance from literally everything, we learned we need to camp/lodge there for festivals!

We loved visiting these areas and playing in the spring! It was absolutely beautiful! There are easier wooden paths and medium dirt paths in areas. Our kids and myself had fun playing in the water a bit. Our dog had fun too! The water is quite chilly and some areas are slipped in the water due to moss, algae, etc. Water shoes with some tread is recommended. Would definitely visit again!

Tyger C — Google review

One of the most beautiful spots in Arkansas that I have seen so far. I didn't grow up here in this area, and i was only recently shown this spot. I really hope to explore it more soon. And I really hope they re open the caves soon!

Tommy S — Google review

Whimsical hiking trails for adults being accompanied by kids or if your out with friends there are harder trails to select. The views throughout are breath taking, and the wooden walkway so you can get close to the waterfall is awesome!! There’s a historic building that is in view as well as baby blue water to dip your feet in. The whole area has different hiking trails that follow the water of go up into the hills, if your a nature person you won’t be disappointed! I suggest hiking boots or durable running shoes for the trails ✌️

Kathleen C — Google review

An awesome experience, very interesting. Camping, hiking, rock skipping, water wadding, just not a good idea this time of year. Beautiful sites to see. Really surprised at how the restrooms were. Waterfall and fishing in one area.

Hershel T — Google review

I’ve been hiking this park for 35yrs. Anytime is a great time to unplug and hike this park. The natural spring is never the same twice. All the bathhouses are very clean and spacious and the park staff are extremely resourceful and willing to help you have the best moments while in the park. I was one of the first participants in “The Wild Cave Tour” where they guided you over the rails of the Dripstone cave tour (I think) and into the depths of the Earth. 4 miles of head lamp lighting, crawling on hands and knees traversing the “Little Grand Canyon” and being promised ‘if you fall; we only came in with 8’: I somehow survived. The primitive camping, zero cell signal and the relaxing waters and top rate park crew keeps this this park timeless and inviting.

Amy O — Google review

Absolutely loved this place! Well worth the trip to go here if your anywhere near the area. The sheer rock cliff face was breathtaking! The large cave mouth was really fun to explore and take pictures in. Definitely would recommend visiting the whole state park, and cant wait to return!

Mitch A — Google review

There is parking right ahead of the mirror lake falls that is left side and park there you will finding excellent fishing spots throughout the year and you can enter onto the mountains from the bridge if you straight you will find path to right of the perpendicular to the falls reach the end of it and you will see a opening use that you will get your own spot.Try also taking path next to parking which will lead to the old mill that is now abandoned. It has good view

Sriram S — Google review

Wow what a beautiful place! If you haven’t gone, go! Crystal clear water, beautiful waterfalls, great swimming holes…so peaceful and relaxing! Love it!

Melynni O — Google review

Great place to visit and a great place to swim or dive of the ledge/cliff and it is family friendly. They have restrooms that you can change in and they also have showers so you can clean off before you leave

Steve S — Google review

Beautiful place, we were here in winter so no camping going on. You can fish, swim and enjoy the creeks and open spaces. Caverns are still closed as of Dec 2022. Appears to be concessions for the summer and an outdoor amphitheater. Beautiful clear water!

This celebrated "living" cave system has 3 levels of lighted, paved trails & guided tours.

This is a beautiful refreshing spot to visit. It is quiet and peaceful. One of our favorite places to spend the day. The trail to the spring is easy to walk. It's totally a family friendly place.

Bethanyk — Google review

This was a super cool cave! I’ve been to a LOT of caves through the US and this one was one of the most interesting. It is a living cave and wonderful examples of flow stones, stalactites, stalagmites, cave straws, curtains, cave popcorn, etc. Our whole family had a great time! The Dripstone Tour was age and ability friendly. The tour guides were knowledgeable, funny, and thorough. Would definitely go again!

Tyger C — Google review

We had a great time here taking a tour of a cave 200 feet underground! The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful! The formations were remarkable and the ecosystem was mesmerizing, as we saw a few bats fly through. It was around $16 per ticket when we went on a Saturday. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the next available tour, which wasn’t too bad. We used this time to check out the nearby waterfall and trails. They also had a gift shop with a few rocks/ crystals, Blanchard Springs memorabilia such as shirts and mugs, a few snacks such as chips and twizzlers, stuffed animals, and more. I would highly recommend for them to consider opening a food truck (or a few) outside of the building for customers to enjoy while they wait. Since this is in the middle of nowhere, food options are few and far. They could make a lot of money and improve the quality of the visits with a food truck offering burgers or hot dogs, etc. Just an idea. Very lovely place with lots of beautiful natural scenic views worth checking out!

Dakota F — Google review

Amazing caves! We took the one-hour tour, the only one offered in early April. It shows the most beautiful parts of the caves and is long enough to really absorb the beauty of the caves, but short enough for kids and those who may not be up for a longer walk.Price was very reasonable, and I'm happy to support the preservation of places like this.

David B — Google review

We had a great time going through the cave. Everyone that worked there was informative and friendly. A great place to spend some time out of the heat. We really appreciated how they are really doing all they can to preserve the caves temperature and protecting bats from white-nose syndrome. Definitely check out the cave.

Maria R — Google review

I absolutely love this place. I have spent a lot of time practicing long exposure shots on the springs waterfall and the mirror lake falls. The cave tours are informative and super beautiful. Totally worth checking out. The surround area is gorgeous and not a bad hike either. The campground was very well taken care of. I would love to camp out here some day.

Cody P — Google review

Wonderful find while on a day outing. Trails are easy to walk, beautiful sce, cool water. Tranquil and fun. Hiking, water, and history. Perfect day trip. The caverns tours were booked so I would advise booking in advance. We were directed to the springs as an alternative

Beverly L — Google review

Beautiful place to visit! The caverns are beautiful and the swimming spots nearby are as well! Be prepared though, the water is COLD!!!🥶 Great for cooling down on a hot day though! Inside the cave is nice and cool as well. We were fine wearing shorts and a sweatshirt but you don't really need one (unless you're cold natured).

Brittany S — Google review

We had a prebooked time today to visit Blanchard Springs Cavern and did the drip tour. Jana was our guide, and Grant was our safety officer today. Jana was friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. The caves are breathtaking and is a definite place you need to stop and visit.

Jenna C — Google review

This was a truly amazing experience! Our supervisor guide Paul was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable and make the whole tour a great deal of fun. We learned lots of facts about the caves, the wildlife, and about the forestry service. These guys know their stuff so ask questions. This place is very family friendly and I definitely plan on returning in the spring! Thanks Paul!

Gabriel B — Google review

Great cave to visit! Reopened after being closed for 2 years. The Dripstone tour offers a .4 mile tour with a few sections of incline but is paved walkways all the way with handrails. Beautiful experience to see with some incredible sites in the surrounding areas that includes a spring fed waterfall you can get incredibly close to.

50 year anniversary this year! Get out and explorer Arkansas.Truly one of Arkansas best places to explore with the family and friends. With the many tours going on make sure you either get there early or buy tickets on line for the best tour times. Some if the best tours are on the weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The surroundings at the park has many great things to enjoy. Campground and pleasant experience awaits anyone. There is great place for swimming right there for everyone to enjoy.Fishing is fun and very addictive too on Mirror lake. It is a great sweat hole for a hook.Over all it's a great experience waiting for all to enjoy. All the Park Rangers will help you any way they can so your time spent is a great one thats enjoyable.

Douglas K — Google review

This place is so cool! We made a 3.5 hour drive to check out the Cavern and it did not disappoint, however the recreation area was also amazing! Kids got to to swim around in a crystal clear creek, and explore beautiful bluffs in addition to the Cavern tour which was awesome. Definitely buy tickets a few days in advance as they sell out pretty quickly!

Amber E — Google review

Such an amazing experience. If you’re considering going, DO IT.It’s a short walk with awe inspiring sights. The tour guides were very friendly and super knowledgeable.Make sure you make a reservation though! Spots fill up quick the day off. There is also some very beautiful sights to see outside the caverns such as the old cotton mill and the waterfall next to it.And of course, the spring itself is stunning.

Elaina D — Google review

What an amazing adventure. The tour guides were terrific and dove deep into the details of the Caves discovery and what the process was to bring it to the public to enjoy. This place is a must see for all ages so stop in and enjoy nature at its finest !

Exploring our beautiful state today we did The Dripstone Tour at Blanchard Springs Caverns it was so beautiful and educational totally worth the (very scenic) drive! Fox Glover and Eden were our tour guides and did an excellent job! We want to come back and do the Discovery tour when it opens this summer as well! Wear good comfy shoes and pack a snack for the drive.

I've been to Blanchard Springs Caverns multiple times including a wild cave tour many years ago. I've been in quite a few caves and nothing compares to this. The tour guide was excellent too!

Dr. R — Google review

Beautiful! We had a great tour guide and a great experience! It was an hour tour, that ended with a ride back to the main entrance. Kid friendly, and had resting spots and ramps.

Liberty S — Google review

One of the best family adventures I've been to. The forest service guide did an amazing job explaining all the cavern details and was fun and enjoyable to be around. I recommend that every person out there take this tour at least once in their lives. Absolutely stunning and amazing place to visit...mind blowing to see!

Anthony S — Google review

A 1+ hour guided tour. The cave was beautiful and tour guide was the best. He was entertaining and took his time. We even got to see a few bats inside which weren't supposed to be there. They said we were very lucky to see them at this time. The walk was pretty easy with several inclines. The temperature was around 60 degrees which was so nice since it was hot outside in the middle of October.

Jennifer W — Google review

We did the discovery tour it was about an 1 hour long and wheelchair accessible however there are areas that are quite steep. We took the elevator down to the cave and bus back to the main entrance. Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time.

Absolutely loved our guided trip with Erik. He was a great guide and we caught lots of fish! Debbie goes above and beyond to make the experience and food wonderful! Already booked again for next year!

Brooke N — Google review

I would have gave an negative 10 if I could have. This is the absolute worst place to fish ever! The guide have no respect for people bank fishing. Very mouthy and unprofessional if you ask me. Ran over people lines without a care in the world. And when told there was lines was shrugged off. Will not recommend this place to any family and friends. Maybe remind them they down own the river?

Heather P — Google review

I’ve been fishing with them since i was a kid. After 10+ years of not going we went during late November this year and had a great time. The guide was great, the lunch was amazing, and the fishing cant be beat. Highly suggest using this fishing outfit.

Carl R — Google review

Cotter Trout Dock is a must when fishing White River! Very friendly and helpful staff. Must definitely ask for Elvin for your guide! He is awesome! Kept us on fish all morning! Nice rainbows and some big browns! We also rented a boat from them and went out on our own. First rate gear and had a great afternoon.

Alan B — Google review

I ADORE Mrs. Debbie oh so much! Me and my boyfriend had such a great time! It was our first time rainbow trout fishing and we already want to go back and do it again! We also did the shore lunch. Ya'll... the hush puppies, the bacon, the banana pudding, the fries, OUR fish! It was so dang delicious! Doug was our guide and cooked us up not only one heck of a meal but brought us to some good spots! My boyfriend and Doug got along real well and it was just such a nice addition to a beautiful day out on the water! When we got back, they packaged up our fish and the sweetheart of sweethearts, Mrs. Debbie, had a calender collage of the pictures she had taken that morning before we set sail! It's the little things ya'll and Cotter Trout has a great thing going on! Can't wait to be back!

Ginnie J — Google review

Highly recommend Cotter Trout Dock. The guys caught their limit plus some big Brownies. Best fishing trip ever.Eric our guide was fantastic.

Susan S — Google review

Recognizing that fishing is a sport and that it may never be the same way twice, I have to let you know that this was an incredible experience. Mrs. Debbie was an amazing host, taking pictures and guiding us through the process. Eric was our guide and he kept us on fish all day, all within a mile of the dock so we didnt have to spend a bunch of time motoring to our fishing spot. We caught our limit of rainbow trout within the first 90 minutes and then switched to try and catch my father his first German Brown. We spent the rest of the day not only looking for Browns but actually catching them too! We managed to catch and release 7-8 Browns with Eric finding us a new spot whenever the fishing slowed down. It was a wonderful experience and one that we would love to repeat! 10/10 would suggest booking with Cotter Trout Dock!

Allan B — Google review

Great fishing experience Debbie is an awesome manager of dock and Doug provided a great time with his fishing expertise. Will definitely be back!

Everyone was fantastic and Mark, our guide, was amazing! My husband and I had an amazing time, it was exactly what we needed and so much more!! Everything about our experience was perfect! Thank you so much to the folks at Cotter Trout Dock for making our weekend one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We will definitely be booking again. I just can't say enough great things about the folks that made our day amazing and how hard they worked to ensure it couldn't go any other way.

Nature & Parks

Hurricane River Cave is currently closed for restoration under new ownership. The owners are making significant upgrades to the lighting, walkways, bridge, and stairs to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors. Once the repairs are completed, the cave will be reopened for exploration.

My wife and I took 2 ten year olds to this cavern. It turned out to be a self-guided tour, which was fantastic. We were able to do more and see more, up close...not the cookie-cutter, roped off experience you get from the other caves.

Philip T — Google review

Cave has new owners and is closed for restoration. Owners have upgraded all the lighting in the cave and are rebuilding the walkway, bridge and stairs. Will be reopened when repairs are done and a safe, enjoyable recreation experience can be had by all visitors.

Gary S — Google review

Never made it to the cave, arrived approximately an hour after they were suppose to be open. Walked around to find clothes hanging up, old food/food/pots and pans laying around the shop outside, all the equipment was out in the rain, closed sign with the lights off.Called the owner(s) and they apologized and said someone would be on site in a few minutes. After 20 minutes, a worker came downstairs and opened the shop. We went inside only to hear him still trying to get ready, he was living upstairs of the shop and was still asleep with another woman yelling at him asking if he's going to get out of bed. After 45 minutes of waiting, he never acknowledged we were even there, waiting by ourselves. Another worker drove up on an ATV, once again never acknowledged us. So we left, only person to even speak to us was another customer that wanted her flashlights back from the day before. Highly unprofessional. Unorganized. Very disappointed in the staff.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect spot to look at the amazing view and go into the little shop to look around and visit with the staff! This place offers a great view of the scenic majestic Ozarks and also has a store on site to purchase souvenirs such as magnets Tshirts to name a few and also offers a tower to overlook the valley.

Anirudh G — Google review

Great view worth a visit. Second time going there and still beautiful. In fall the colors are awsome add a few of those photos from then also.

Robby V — Google review

Wow and Wow again. Pictures do no justice. Beautiful by all means. The drive from Branson Missouri was spectacular. The little place their sales fudge and all kinds of souvenirs and his prices are amazingly reasonable, highly recommend stopping in there.

Scott P — Google review

Lovely scenery ! You can go up the tower to get a wonderful view , and there is a gift shop with lovely Arkansas made gifts. Has public restrooms

Christel Y — Google review

We love to come here, especially in the Fall. These photos are from last Fall. Beautiful views. We stayed at the Cliffhouse Inn there. You can climb the tower to get a better view. Found some things for the grandkids at the gift shop there. Must see!

Melynni A — Google review

So beautiful you have to see it for yourself. If you can stay at the Cliffside Inn it overlooks it! Amazing views.

Karen D — Google review

This is a beautiful place to visit and the gift shop has some cool stuff. The town close is Jasper, it is a pretty little town with very friendly residents. I will definitely be going back.

D P — Google review

Very rad view. The vista has large and spacious parking and a lovely grass and trees lot to sit under. There is a wood tower that elevates your view point even higher. Also you can hop into the little souvenirs shop for a ball cap or magnet.

Brad M — Google review

If you're nearby I recommend stopping here for a bit. This is a great spot to stop and see for miles with a small gift shop. There's a short tower you can climb to get a little better view, but there's an easily accessible area on the ground only 30 feet from the nearest parking spots making it easy for just about anyone to enjoy this scenic view.

Andrew K — Google review

Any time spent with a loved one in Arkansas is time beautifully spent. The Arkansas grand canyon was nice. Better in fall though, I think... Now I'm just talking about looking at the views of the canyon. Hiking the trails and creeks are great year round.

Insane B — Google review

Nice overlook into the valley. I’m thinking when this was named the AR “Grand Canyon”, they had never seen the real Grand Canyon! LOL! Still a cool place to take in the scenery. Not crazy about the gravel parking lot on a motorcycle.

Dave “ — Google review

This place is just magical! I'm not a huge fan of the winding roads in a fully loaded 4 door tahoe but, I can't wait to get my bike down there! It will take your breathe away at just about every turn. Love it and highly recommend coming to experience it yourself!

Cory S — Google review

Absolutely beautiful! Pictures do not do this any justice. Roads where a little windy on the way up, would have been more fun if I wasn't in a 37 ft RV. The view was worth it though!

Jesus I — Google review

Just a photo opp. Gorgeous but not worth a trip reroute. We were a little disappointed. But a beautiful view for sure. So if you are driving past take that photo!

Natasha M — Google review

Quick scenic spot on way to Jasper, its good to see only on daylight and can spend 10-15minutes. There's a small gift shop next door.

Deepak — Google review

6/28/23 This part of a scenic drive in Arkansas. It is a nice drive, LOTS of trees! Plenty of good local places including restaurants. Really enjoyed the trip.

Jonboiy00 A — Google review

Beautiful scenic spot. The lady in the gift shop is so nice. If we return, we will definitely bring her some boudin.

Stacy D — Google review

Very pretty, relaxing view. There is sign there also talking view, and where all you can see.Has a scenic point gift shop. Can stop and get Souvenirs, or drink, fudge. They also have a wooden look thing, with stairs that is on site you can walk up, and get a better view.

Cemetery

Sights & Landmarks

Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, AR is a stunning sight with over 733 Sugar Maple trees that burst into vibrant colors during the autumn season. The peak of this colorful display usually occurs in mid to late October or early November, offering a picturesque setting for walking, driving, photography, and peaceful contemplation. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking scenery and take leisurely strolls through the beautiful surroundings.

This is a holy place where I walk my dogs. I also pick up a few bags of waste along the way from other owners letting their dog poo and leave it. Always have a dog on a leash, and respect the Graves. One thing that I don't understand is that there are 2 flags outside of the stage. It's would rather that they take them down until the new ones can be replaced. The American flag is an honor to fly. I appreciate the Flag, but not like in this photo.IPDATE: The cemetary not only replaced the flags, but they also put doggy stations with waste bags and a can for disposal. Wow, this place put me to shame! Excellent job, really, it is the best walking area in Harrison. My apologies for my quick to be a "b" 😆. Great place, well taken care of, kid friendly, and pray it always stays open to the public. Update!! The cemetary is very people friendly, and dog friendly. They put up a few stations for not only a place to drop your waste, but they provide the waste bags for FREE as you walk your dogs. Amazing place, with amazing people working there. In the fall, as the peak of the leaves changing , if you time it right, you will see so much color like explosions of red, yellow, pink and blue leaves overwhelming your endorphins, if you like fall colors. But don't wait, the leaves are beautiful one day, storm and rain, they're gone the next day. falling off with the weight if the water, and a strong wind.

John C — Google review

Great place to visit during the fall and probably spring too!!The colours are beautiful indeed.. so is the place and it is really nice for a stroll

Chaitanya K — Google review

My favorite fall trip! When the leaves are at their peak the red and orange and yellow colors are breathtaking!💞

Sandy M — Google review

If you love Fall like I do , it’s a can’t miss . I have chased fall colors from Vermont to Aspen Co. and maple wood cemetery is Harrison belongs with the most beautiful places . The beauty along with the setting makes for a spiritual experience .

Clint M — Google review

A beautiful, serene place which is very well maintained. There is enough of a calming effect that people will go for a leisurely walk or sit in their vehicle to read a book.

Crystal W — Google review

My mother in law, her best friend and I came here last October and I was over taken by the beauty. Simply breath taking! I will definitely visit here again.

Shanna R — Google review

It's good before and good afterwards but when it Peaks you have to be there at that special moment it's wonderful and if you've never been to Maplewood Cemetery in the fall you really don't know what you missed

It is 7 miles round trip. Very , very, trying. I got only two sweet candies with me and on way back felt like disy and very tired. But it was amazing scenery, bluffs, river. If you decide to go to Goat trail from HIH, it will add up another 6 miles to you trip.

Great part of the Buffalo river. Good for kayaking or just wading around in knee deep beautiful, clear water. Good for kids or just stopping by after a long hike to cool off. The water is pleasantly cool in the summer.

Went during the winter so all the leaves have dropped or are brown. It’s a different kind of beauty. The sunset and views were still lovely. The gps told me that it would be a 2.5 hour drive. I think it was closer to 3 due to how winding the road was. It is a long drive on Hwy 23 “the pig trail” with hairpin turns. Then there was 8-9 miles on a dirt road that is very narrow. The dirt road is very bumpy and there are many blind corners and hills where you suddenly have to get over for oncoming vehicles. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle or one you don’t care as much about.Google maps tries to take people to the wrong location and you will find yourself on a private driveway with a no trespassing sign on the gate. There is a 3-4 car parking area 0.25 miles before that before the turn onto the private drive and that is the parking and trailhead. The hike is moderately easy going downhill first and then back uphill, then hiking along the cliffs for a short ways. The hike was about 3 miles and we stopped to take pictures several times. It took us about two hours. It gets dark out on the trail about an hour earlier than actual “sundown” and that dirt road is pretty bad in the dark. I also lost cell service for the last part of the drive and hike. This was fine until I was trying to drive home and there were several forks in the dirt road that you have to remember which way since the gps is “offline”It is definitely worth the trouble for the amazing views but next time I will definitely leave earlier to have more time and not feel rushed by the oncoming sunset/dark.

Ash H — Google review

Entrance to the whitaker point. The road is unpaved and the markings could've been clear. There's an hidden marking behind the parking lot. Suggest to visit before sunset and not many options available here for camping. There are few cabins available nearby to stay. Have a nice hike

Enjoyed disconnecting from everything and being out away from it all. Was a bumpy ride but WELL WORTH it.

The Branson Landing Water & Fire Show is a stunning display of water fountains and fire cannons set to music and light shows. Located on the scenic boardwalk along Lake Taneycomo, this multi-million dollar extravaganza features 120-ft. fountains shooting water into the air alongside vertical blasts of fire cannons, all synchronized with popular musical favorites. It's a free event in a lively downtown location, offering ample seating areas and nearby restaurants with live music.

What a great show! Our family very much enjoyed it! We were there the week of Thanksgiving and everything is decorated. Directly behind the show area is a huge beautiful Christmas tree that puts on a light show to the Christmas music playing. It's a great area to be in!

Keli J — Google review

Nice water and fire show you can watch for free at the top of every hour while visiting the Branson Landing shopping and restaurant area.Fountains and flames are set to well-known songs and are a pleasant addition to your trip. The show changes each hour, so you don't have just one song to hear. At dusk. The fountains also light up in a variety of colors and are much more spectacular. If you stand on the base level, you can feel the heat from the flames! Just be sure to keep your little ones out of the fountain.

Dave S — Google review

We caught this during a recent trip to Branson and it was a great night out. The water and fire show starts at the top of every hour and there are plenty of places to shop, eat, or just walk by the river. The kids absolutely loved the show and probably wished it was longer.

Will R — Google review

It’s a free event in a lively location of downtown which is right in front of scenic railway station and multiple kiosks with interesting stuff. There are restaurants around with live music. The fire show and the fountain is according to the music with large space and seating areas. They have schedule online for reference. Must visit place as per my opinion. They have shows both in the afternoon and after dark and I preferred after dark.

H V — Google review

This was a great show. I really enjoyed the light show. It was about as good as the one in Vegas just not as large. They did an amazing job with the landing show.

Patricia L — Google review

Came for the train ride, spent a few hours shopping and hanging out, beautiful place very clean and despite the very hot weather, it provided lot of shade & cool areas.

Chrissy M — Google review

What a fantastic show!!!! Is this the best kept secret in Branson? We think so! Nestled in a busy outdoor mall, this exciting and serene show is a must-see for locals and tourists alike. I highly recommend stopping in for a show. If you like to dance there are plenty of spaces to take a partner and enjoy the music with the beautiful water and fire entertainment!

Heather S — Google review

I highly recommend attending both the water and fire shows. Each offers a unique and captivating experience that you won't want to miss. The water show dazzles with its synchronized fountains dancing to music, creating a mesmerizing display of light and movement. Meanwhile, the fire show ignites the senses with its thrilling pyrotechnics, casting a warm glow and infusing the air with excitement. Together, these two spectacles promise an unforgettable evening of entertainment for all ages.

Alex S — Google review

Great outdoor mall that is all dressed up for the holidays. Plenty of thongs to see and do, shopping, playing, dining. Enjoy.

H M — Google review

Easy and free parking. Fountain show happens each hour.Definitely you should take your family here during the holiday. Free.

Bella — Google review

Loved the landing, first time to just go sit and listen to the music as the fountains moved to the music, beautifully choreographed presentation of water and fire. Stop and take a moment, shows are at the top of the hour starting at noon daily I believe.

Curtis A — Google review

My family loves the fountain show at Branson Landing. The show play for about 5 minutes on the hour from 5-11pm each night. So make sure to get there early to get seats. There are a lot of fun shops to check out along Branson Landing. You can find just about anything there..lol

Nicole B — Google review

Had a great time perusing the shops to pass the time while waiting for the fountain shows I wanted to see. You can check the schedule of the water shows and the song featured. The water and fire show was entertaining and a very nice break from all the walking. There were a lot of people when we went so there’s not a whole lot of areas to sit. Luckily the show is not very long and there are some railings you can lean against. Overall, great entertainment and it’s free!

Joyeaux — Google review

So amazing and I was lucky to be staying at the Hilton convention center so we saw the show several times. Shows are on the top of the hour noon till 10pm

Kevin K — Google review

This is such a great show. This is one of the main draws for me and my family, to the Landing, as often as we go!The show is every hour on the top of the hour. There is usually a song playing, often a patriotic type song, along with a synched fire show.I highly recommend this!!

Anne G — Google review

We were enjoying all the shops , zip- line and water views in Branson Landing when we stumbled upon the waterfall show. This is the best outdoor show I have seen. There are colors, music, water and fire! It is spectacular! It usually happens on the hour, but check the Internet and don’t miss this find in Branson’s Landing!

Linda D — Google review

Really neat to see. The music playing when we were there wasn't necessarily my favorite but still a cool show

Arkansas M — Google review

Very fun area with lots of shops and great live music shows which include fire, lights, and fountain shows. Several attractions are walkable as well. We tried a couple restaurants and weren’t very impressed, due to high prices and lower quality food. I recommend eating elsewhere (far away from the landing).

The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is a contemporary hotel that offers modern accommodations. It features an indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center. Situated along the scenic Branson Landing, which is a vibrant strip of shops and restaurants along Lake Taneycomo, the hotel enjoys an excellent location. The highlight of the area is The Fountains, a unique attraction that combines water, fire, light, and music to create a stunning spectacle.

Nice large, clean rooms. Nice location at the landing.Put us initially in a room that has HVAC issues but QUICKLY remedied the issue by moving us to the same type of room with the same balcony and view and comped us a large portion of the room cost.Rooms are pricey, but they have service down very well! Will stay here again.

Jonathan N — Google review

First off, I was very disappointed to have paid full price a fountain view room.. Which i was specifically very excited about for my son.. And then the fountain was under maintenance during my entire stay. Very disappointing.. I know Hilton does not own the fountain and it must undergo maintenance at times, but should comp rooms during these times when you pay the price tag FOR that view/show. Also, the shower head felt like you were staying at a road side motel rather than the Hilton.Otherwise, a very pleasing stay! Nice facilities with plenty to do. You would never have to drive, if you did not want. Room and bathroom were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Each staff member that I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. I would most definitely return to the Hilton Promenade.

Ali L — Google review

Fountain view room was nice, but we needed to use the key 5 separate times to get into our room (to enter the building, then in the elevator, then 3 separate doors to enter the room), which was a little odd. The room did not have enough towels or supplies, but they were willing to bring more when asked. We stayed 6 nights, and they did not service the room when requested. Location was excellent. It would have been nice if there was an outdoor pool, but we used the one across the street.

Emily C — Google review

Stayed here for 4 days. The night front desk clerk was very helpful. Valet parking also helpful. Our room air conditioner did not work it would put out hot air in the middle of the night. They had a window unit rigged in the room. They put the vent through the window and enclosed it with card board because they had to remove a window pane to vent it.They do not clean your room unless asked to. After two days I asked to have the room clean. They only left enough towels for one day, didn't leave toilet paper, coffee cups or a bath mat. But they did want me to leave a tip. This from a FULL SERVICE HILTON.It would be really great if the bottom sheet fit the bed instead of being too smallLast name was Ballenot on the booking. We were in room N301

Jane R — Google review

We frequent Branson and I had always wondered what it would be like to stay at the Hilton…. I was disappointed. The bathrooms have soap/body wash/conditioner dispensers in the shower and two of the three were empty. The noise was constant ALL night. The rooms were CLEAN and the front desk staff were very nice but I don’t think I would stay here again.

Heather O — Google review

I loved this location. However, the room has wallpaper peeling in the bathroom & dust on appliancesGreat service and great location right on the boardwalk. It's disappointing that you pay that much for a room and parking and breakfast are not included.

Jerry S — Google review

Location was great and convenient, however for approx. $300/night I had expectations of a higher standard. But instead we got a basic room; it had a balcony but it overlooked a 2nd story roof so that was worthless; we had NO hot water in the bathroom so had to take a cold shower both days; because of the disconnection of the rooms from the main hotel we had to walk in the rain to get from our room to the pool; the bedding was basically just sheets; both mattresses were well used and sloped on both sides so you had to sleep in the middle of the mattress or it felt like you were going to roll out of the bed. Hardly a luxury stay. Felt more like Motel 6. We won't be back

Thermo P — Google review

Awesome Christmas trip. Corner room overlooked the huge 5 story singing Christmas Tree and dancing waters fountain. Corner room had a huge balcony and the hotel is extremely clean and modern. Excellent staff! Covered and safe parking.

Daryl H — Google review

The staff here gets 5 stars. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because of our room. We stayed in a top floor room overlooking the fountain area. The room itself was nice and very clean. However, I'm really not sure why it is designed so incredibly poorly. Our room opened to a shared hallway with one other room. Additionally, we had two open vents to that hallway. This means that everytime someone makes noise in that tiny shared hallway it echoes into your room. There was no privacy and the people across the hall had visitors coming and going during the times we were trying to sleep. Also, the thermostat for the room is under one of these vents. Our heater (set at 69) only ever turned off for about 30 seconds at a time. I believe it kept kicking back on because the cold air from the hallway was constantly moving into our room. The valet team here is extraordinary. Everyone at the desk and even housekeeping were so friendly and helpful. This is a great location for seeing Branson and close to everything you want to do. We will be back here but next time I'll call to request a room with no vents. You can see the vents (and thermostat on the wall with the mirror) clearly in the photo with the bed in the foreground.

Joy T — Google review

We expected a much nicer room for almost $900 for 2 nights. Plus you have to pay for parking and the continental breakfast across the street is $17 per person. There are better options for fresh made breakfast about a block away. Our room had a chair and the mattress was pushed up against the window. You could not sit comfortably to watch tv or read with the window sill to lean against. 👎🏼Not at all comfortable. It was clean, but not the quality we thought it should be for the price. My brothers room (cheaper rate) at this same hotel had a much nicer quality room. Including a headboard, couch, chairs and more. While it was clean, our room was not at all the value for what we paid. The only plus was they gave us 2 bottles of water for our 2-night stay and the room was clean.

Jamie S — Google review

We spent extra to stay at this location, it really can’t be beat, especially with a toddler. When we arrived the room was not very clean and definitely in need of updates. Our phone did not work, we only had 2 total towels, no bath mat, extra wash clothes, etc. whatever, wasn’t going to complain! 1030 that evening we lost power and it did not come back on ever. Our windows leaked water due to the storm and we had to walk down a pitch black stairwell with our child and all of our luggage. When we went to “check out” (obviously couldn’t stay the next night due to no power and no clue when it’d be back) we heard the front desk attendant tell several people complaining that their would be refunds. Several days later I had to spend 3+ hours to get the second night refunded. Surely wouldn’t think they’d charge us for a night we couldn’t stay there- we had to go find another hotel. They explained they did all they can do by just refunding the last night of our reservation. So the night with no electricity was completely disregarded as well as my time spent inquiring about it. For obvious reasons, will never stay here again. In desperate need of remodel and cleaning and customer service check.

Katie D — Google review

The valet and bell hop wait staff are phenomenal!I travel with a wheelchair and the valet staff always accommodated me by getting my wheelchair out of the back seat of my truck in order for me to exit the truck or vice versa putting me in the truck to go elsewhere, very helpful and this took a load off of my wife having to wrestle with it!The desk staff were very knowledgeable about local venues and offerings as well as helpful with our accommodations and needs!

Curt S — Google review

We didn't stay here but stopped by while walking. Very nice. There are some cool places to hang out at, good restaurants. Hotel is really nice.

David G — Google review

Loved the view from the corner balcony, watching over the landing. The fountain was not on which wouldhave been nice but still it was good listening to music and the location was fantastic! Our room had issues...the fold out bed was disgusting with stains and ripped on both corners! There was no sheets or blanket for it fortunately we had brought a sleeping bag and blanket for our granddaughter. There was only 2 towels with 3 guest checking in and limited bathroom products. When paying $265 a night for an upscale hotel I expected much more.are room head issues

Kelly R — Google review

Disappointed. Stayed in same room as before. Once again Ice machine did not work. Called front desk, I was told that they had no idea. Not true, reported the issue last time. I asked where to get ice, offered to bring some in a few minutes. Those few minutes turned into 1 hr later. Adult daughter was in shower and teenager was in room. They knocked once and walked into room. I returned from the hot tub, called front desk. I was told sorry and they will speak to housekeeping supervisor about more training for their staff. Later that evening, manager called to apologize and comp some off of hotel. When I check out that did not happened, told have to wait until a manager comes in around 2pm. Now waiting, sure nothing will be done. Please respect your hotels guest privacy and fix your issues (not put it off for the next guest). This was not room service, just ice. They let themselves into our room when my teenager was alone. Unacceptable.

Valerie R — Google review

This hotel was pretty good! This bed was comfortable! The pillows were ok! The location was pretty nice, right on the Branson Landing! There should have been a way to shut off the ac & heat! Our room was either too cold or too hot! The room & furniture popped loudly & a lot during the night waking us up! There were loud kids & babies that were nearby on our floor! It was kinda of hard to figure out how to get from the parking garage to our room & then back to the parking garage at first!

Jimmy G — Google review

While staying in Branson for a work trip, I stayed at the Hilton Promenade which did not disappoint. From the breathtaking views to the lively crowd, I was very pleased with my stay. The shopping nearby, proximity to the strip, and bustling night atmosphere make this a perfect location for adults or families. The rooms were clean and offered a scenic view.I will be back soon!!

Ashley T — Google review

I had a great stay! Everyone was so helpful and nice. I had the fountain view room and the view was beautiful, it was so enjoyable sitting out on the balcony. The only con is that if you get assigned a room in tower 2, you have to walk back and forth from that tower to the lobby/parking garage. You have to walk outside for part of that walk. Other than that, I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great. Only problem is their T.V channels not much to watch at all can't stream/cast anything from your on phone. Other than that great location for shopping, dinning, entertainment you name it it's there!!

The room was filthy! I was so disappointed. The room was beautiful, we had a suite. It washuge and we had our Pembroke Welsh Corgi and he loved having all of that space and all the people we got to watch walk by and their dogs and children. He loves kids and the elderly the most.To be fair though, I DID NOT call the front desk and complain. If I had they probably would have made it right with us somehow. We were there four nights and I cleaned it myself but that's ridiculous. The floors were filthy, they hadn't been moped in a long time. I spilled a little water in the bathroom and wiped it up and the paper was totally black. ⚫️ The kitchen was too. The top of the ceramic tile, the marble. UGH I don't want to think about it anymore. 😪

Great experience! Stayed two nights for part of our honeymoon, besides everything being closed from the cold, the hotel made our experience amazing! They even put roses and swan towels on our bed, which was such a sweet surprise! Thank you for the great stay

Fantastic location and hospitality! When visiting Branson I typically stay at Big Cedar, but this was a shorter trip and I’ve always eyed this location when visiting The Landing. This is a hidden gem! The rooms are spacious and up to date, the views are wonderful and service was outstanding. There was some light construction going on when we arrived and you could hardly notice! Can’t wait to return!

LOVE the balcony!!!!! This deserves a 5 star alone! The picture posted of the comforter looks nasty but it’s just the filling in the squares has come apart and floating around. Probably need to be replaced. Don’t get me wrong the room was very clean!! Nice Hilton in the perfect spot with very nice, helpful and polite staff! We’ll be back for sure 😉

Locations great, rooms are nice, but the problem is that we’ve been waiting to even get to the room for almost 2 hours after the front desk saying it’ll be ready “soon”. Our check in time was at 4, after walking around for 3 hours waiting for check in time they tell us our room wasn’t ready so we proceeded to wait 2 hours just to get into our rooms so we could change for dinner. If you have rooms that need to be ready by check in, get them ready ahead of time and make check out at least 2 hours before you need to prepare the rooms so you don’t waste time”

We stayed in Building 1 - I guess this is considered the "main" building. The Lobby was nice and updated. The staff very friendly. We had a large one bedroom "condo". The room was large - the patio/balcony was very large. The room was quiet. However, the colors and the furniture were very outdated. The room could use some updating. There was a yellow stain on the pillow case and some stains on the end of the bed cover. More things like this should be paid attention to by housekeeping. The whiskey bar - VERY UNDER STAFFED. A whiskey bar not having some of the basic necessities to make an Old Fashioned, I mean, come on!! Someone should have run out to grab a few things - we waited a long time for initial service and a very long time to be checked in on once we got our initial drinks. The bartender, he said he was also the manager, was very busy - but at some point - to not let the level of service down, the hostess seating people should mention something like "we are short staffed, and we welcome you but we welcome you with the understanding that our wait times will be much longer than normal" - but to continue seating people when you can't handle the crowd - makes for a disappointing experience.

Hotel

Sights & Landmarks

The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks features refined suites with balconies and fireplaces, adding an airy feel to the lodging. Dobyns Dining Room is a student-run eatery that offers a unique culinary experience, based on produce and food products produced on campus. The hotel's entertainment includes live music from students on Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Staff and service provided are exceptional. Very relaxing environment, quiet, safe, secure. Nighttime milk and cookies are so awesome. Breakfast brought to the room every morning, I enjoy this place over the Ritz any day. The food and ice cream are just as exceptional as staff. Have stayed multiple times and each time is just as wonderful of an experience as the first time. Love staying here.

What a fun place to dine. We had a large party of 10 and we were served quickly and efficiently. We spoke with the waitress and mentioned we were celebrating an 80th birthday party… they gave the birthday boy a dessert and sang to him. What a wonderful experience! They also have several places on campus that you go check out. The tractor museum was my husbands favorite spot!

Laura F — Google review

We had an amazing dinner there, but the real treat was the service we received. I don’t know that I can think of a time when I have received better service. Helen was our waitress and provided just the right level of attentiveness. Our water glass never went empty, she offered recommendations, and she packed up our leftovers. Then when we left without our leftovers, she caught up with us to make sure we had them. Excellent is an understatement!

Jackie K — Google review

Wonderful lunch with friends. Eli from Salem Missouri was our waiter. Very efficient, personable and attentive to our table of 7. Then I enjoyed shopping in the gift shop!

Julianne K — Google review

This Lodge (hotel) is very special. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Very quiet and comfortable. The turn down service plus milk and cookies in the evening is great, plus the breakfast that they bring to your room is above and beyond! Enjoyed walking around the campus to see the jobs the students do.

Gayla L — Google review

This is place where special (birthdays, anniversary, etc) events should be celebrated. The food and the service is what we'd usually find at very fine restaurants. The trout dinner was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The vegetables are not over cooked, and gently seasoned. An apple butter accompanied the rolls and biscuits. The apple butter was not over processed. The beef was cooked to perfection. Not over cooked nor over seasoned. The ice tea is brewed, not instant tea. I don't think there are wine and spirits on the menu, after all this is a university and the staff are students. A typical dinner ranges around $25 per person. Just keep in mind the food and service is worth it. Plus I believe it helps out the university also.

What a great experience. I love being able to “unpack” a review with confidence in the rating. Here we go1. Food Quality - 5 Stars. I love that many of the ingredients are Farm to Table done by the students themselves. Great options and fresh taste2. Ambiance - 5 Stars. Loved the open seating and the rustic yet slightly elegant feel. The fact that the staff is all students is awesome. They work at various spots on the campus to cover their tuition. The servers do keep the tips.3. Cleanliness - 5 Stars. All through out the dining area, reception and bathrooms it was always clean. Love the fresh flowers at each table4. Customer Service - 5 Stars. Wow. These students are awesome. What a great dining experience. As this was our first time we had one of the hostess walk us around orienting us to the Keeter Center.I would for sure come here. The desserts are great, the rolls and scones and homemade butter. We will be back. Our server was so cute and friendly. Make sure you make reservations or come before 5:30 to be able to walk in. Thank you C of A. We’ll be back.

We ate dinner there. We had reservations and were promptly seated by a lovely hostess. Peace or server was very warm and friendly. The Broccoli cheese soup was delicious. My wife and I enjoyed the meatloaf made with ingredients from the college farms, while my daughter had the pulled pork mac and cheese. We all enjoyed our selections while listening to a student playing the piano. After dinner we had room for ice cream made on site as well. Our first time did not disappoint and look forward to another trip there.

Brian L — Google review

Had an incredible dinner! This place never fails to impress. We decided to try the brussel sprout nachos and were not disappointed. It was an adventurous delicious appetizer. All of our meals were equally just as good along with fresh rolls and desserts made on site. Red, white and blueberry ice cream was the grand finale for my taste buds. Strongly recommend making a point to get reservations and stop here for a wonderful meal if you're in the area. Prices are very reasonable for the culinary excellence. Please keep in mind that the college kids that attend College of the Ozarks pay for their schooling by working here so you may need some patience. They are not professional servers. I only say this, NOT because of lack of service (because our service has always been great) but because we witnessed some of the clients being a little harsh and demanding on the servers while we were there.

Every employee we encountered was so sweet and friendly. We stayed here for our wedding/honeymoon. We truly felt at home here. It's so relaxing and peaceful. All the staff at the keeter center remembered who we were and would ask how our honeymoon was going everyday. They left lots of personal touches like hand written cards congratulating us everyday and doing our personal dishes in our room. I will say I wish they would have restocked the fridge with soda, restocked the bath salts, and restocked the shower stuff everyday but I'm sure if I would have called and asked someone would have brought that stuff up but I didn't want to inconvenience anyone. They do have a coffee/tea/snack bar open 24/7 for hotel guest so that was a nice touch. They have some finger food snacks on Friday and Saturday night at the lounge. I think there's about 8 rooms on both floors. We met several other couples staying there. Everyone was friendly. They have books and boardgames you can use as well as a computer. The food at the restaurant was amazing and make sure you do the Sunday brunch it was the best food we had in Branson. We really enjoyed our time at the keeter center! Would definitely stay here again!

Kayla — Google review

Wonderful experience! Our party of 5 visited Keeter Center over Thanksgiving weekend. Carina our waitress was super sweet, very kind, responsive and pleasant. Her menu recommendations helped us better decide which entree to choose. The atmosphere was very nice. The building and dining area was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to dine with very young children but my 10 year old enjoyed it. Food was excellent! We will definitely visit again next time we are in Branson.

Ann B — Google review

Loved our stay at the Keeter Center. Everyone was so friendly and made our 25th Anniversary one to remember! All the little extras they do for you make this place amazing. The food was fresh and delicious each day! I can't recommend this place enough. I love supporting the students here!

Karen H — Google review

I don't get all the rave reviews of the restaurant. The food was not good. Too salty, didn't taste that great, and a limited menu. Maybe ate half of it. Also had lemonade which was way too sweet and it tasted like Minute Maid lemonade. It was horrible. Others at my table weren't happy with their food either. Way over priced. I realize it is students who make it. Who are these people who rate it 5 star? The parents of the students? Save your money and go elsewhere.

Greg D — Google review

We've been coming here for more than 14 years and every year when the shake up the menu, it just keeps being better and better! The brussel sprout nachos are really top 5 things I've ever eaten! We love everything here, from the incredible food, the beautiful atmosphere, but mostly the service and what the college stands for. We love being able to compliment and validate their outstanding work ethic!

My husband and I had dinner at the Ketters Center. I was blown away by the service; the waitress was very respectful and welcoming. She went above and beyond. The food was amazing!!! I absolutely loved the complimentary bread and butter-- I had to go to the Ketters Center gift shop to get the biscuit mix😅The meal and dessert was great. Would recommend any day.

Dishonor to my Veteran...Tried to get a reservation for the Veterans day menu Saturday my husband talked to someone at reservations that said they could accommodate my family of 3 as a walk in because he was a veteran ..he said he was concerned there would be a long wait and they said their maybe be a wait, but if you come early it shouldn't be that long...we checked in at 5:15 and I explained this to the hostess who told us it was an hour to an hour and a half wait....so sad they cant accommodate a Veteran with a reasonable wait time. Veterans have disabilities like back injuries maybe they can't wait an hour and a half to eat. If they just simply had told us when we called it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait we wouldn't have driven 45 minutes to get there..we waited 45 min till my husband was physically uncomfortable. They didn't text us for our table till 1 hour and 11 minutes had passed. They simply had no one competent enough to tell is it would be a 90 min wait when we called...costing us time and money. Their excuse and response is shameful just do the job correctly or retrain your reservation students to answer questions correctly.

Was in the area showing a property and decided to visit the Keeter Center. I apologize for eating most of meal before remembering to take photos! The food was really good and their service was excellent. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable of the menu and questions about the campus. They brought my husband a birthday cake and gave us the option to be sung to. The cranberry rolls and regular rolls served with 3 types of butter were wonderful! A friend brought home theWarm Banoffee Pudding and said it was delicious! We were stuffed and couldn’t hold dessert. We’ll be back sometime we’re over there again.#OzarkMountainRealtor

This was my first time staying at The Keeter Center. It rivals top rated hotels (Omni, W, etc) in accommodations, amenities and service. Their turn-down service complete with homemade cookies, fresh milk, and apples with delicious spreads , was first class. The suite was spacious, well appointed, and cozy comfortable. The onsite restaurant and creamery were rated in the top 3 in the Branson area. What made this place superior to most places I have stayed was their employees. They were genuinely nice, pleasant, customer-focused, and professional. I will certainly stay here again when I venture to the Ozarks.

This place is amazing! It’s a 5 star experience. When you get in they are so kind, they also stock your room with drinks and snacks. You get turndown service with milk and cookies. You also get a concierge lounge! There is breakfast in bed and dinner just downstairs! Giant tub that felt like a personal hot tub, and large shower. The toilet paper was even fancy! Lol. they give you bath salts as well as comfy robes that were oversized for comfort. Even have a towel warmer. The room is HUGE! The balcony is large also. Fireplace and modern rustic furnishings. Kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave. We loved it, such a good value and we felt so pampered!! ♥️♥️

Both my wife and I have eaten in this restaurant at least a dozen times in the last eight years Including lunch and dinner never, has the food or service,Been a disappointment. My wife and I both have worked in restaurants for at least two decades each. Always, and outstanding experience.

We ate at the Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks. I had the marinated grilled pork chop and it was delicious! Service was absolutely wonderful. The students were friendly and polite. What a great College. They are getting a WONDERFUL education while learning a good work ethic and patriotism.

Kathy N — Google review

We had lunch at the Keeter Center after a recommendation by a relative. McKenzie was our server and was spectacular. Not only did she have the answers about the food, but she answered questions about the college. The shrimp marinara was delicious. Plenty of shrimp and marinara sauce. The salad was a great and wonderful presentation. The maple dressing is out of this world. The servings were very ample and I didn't have dessert. The atmosphere and design of the dining area are like no other I have seen. After the meal we completed our visit with the purchase of some in the gift shop area. The attitude and politeness of all the servers and staff is greatly appreciated.

Wildlife park

Zoos & Aquariums

Branson's Wild World is a wildlife park and aquarium that offers attractions for all ages. The exhibit features animals from all over the world, including sharks, snakes, and crocodiles.

Totally amazing place! A must see, fun for the whole family and very reasonably priced. I got discount tickets on Groupon. We fed the stingrays and the sharks, extra charge but worth it for the experience. My son loved seeing the kangaroo jump. Artic Fox was so beautiful. Staff was helpful and would tell you all about animals and fish.

Jennifer M — Google review

Spent Christmas Eve with our family (1yr old, 5yr old + 5 adults) we all had a great time. The outside was closed due to it being unsafe/slick but the inside was so worth it! We also added on black light mini golf and it was fun too! Affordable price, fun interactions! Staff was great, we will definitely be back in the summer.

Danecca D — Google review

The experience was great and pricing was more than worth it. The animals were out and it was fun for the kids. The only reason it is at 4 not a 5 is the woman at the front desk was very short and rude with us all 3 times we interacted with her. I understand it was busy but customer service definitely could have been better from her. The other workers were exceptional! Especially the guy with the sharks and the one by the touch tank they were great!

Aubrey C — Google review

What a fun experience! Myself, my husband, and our one year old loved going through and seeing all of the animal exhibits. You can't tell from the outside how big the place really is and there is so much to see. There's also various opportunities to interact, such as feeding stingrays, alligators, sharks; playing with the Australian dingos or lemurs. There are additional charges for the feeding/playing so bring extra cash to get the most out of your experience. The displays are set up so you can get a really close-up view to all of their outdoor animals, such as the lions and tiger. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Overall and awesome experience for the family.

Danielle B — Google review

Their social media presents a place where the animals are safe, lively, and clean. Do not spend your money here. I’d recommend reporting this place for animal abuse. Everything was dirty, literally caked with dust, and one of the alligators by all appearances was dead. Several of the cats paced back and forth, not in a “hunting pace” but from anxiety. I was disturbed. I had hoped it had been closed and maybe had new owners and that they were in the process of revamping, but the lady at the counter said they’d been opened since 2012.I repeat: AVOID THIS PLACE.I was not the only customer disturbed either.

Brian O — Google review

I am a local entertainment guide/small business owner, and I can say that this was an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly, and it had a personal experience. You can feed several of the animals, which is such a unique experience. We fed the lemurs this time and sat with the Dingoes. We also played mini golf. I highly recommend giving your family the amazing experience of Branson's Wild World. Also, if you do not do the Lemur interaction, you are only getting half of the experience. You can sit or stand with them and they will jump on you and let you feed them. One just sat next to me the whole time and was super sweet. Bonus! There is a baby Lemur right now who was born in January and he will be right there with you.

Aahlyia J — Google review

10/10 recommend this place to everyone! Adults and kids. They have a variety of animals..lions, kangaroos, wolves, sharks, alligators, a ton of venomous snakes which was awesome, we got to feed sharks, feed river otters, and hangout with lemurs and African dingos! Some of it is inside and some outside, which was nice on a hot day. Feeding the animals and getting hands on experiences with animals was cheap compared to most places who allow those types of experiences. It ranged from $5-15 and was totally worth every penny! The other great part was that you can tell that the staff actually care for these animals very well and most are very knowledgeable about them. Especially the guy that accompanied us to pet the Dingos. He was so nice and taught us so much and made it an awesome experience, I wish I had gotten his name! Anyway, I would highly recommend you add this to your list of things to do while in Branson. It is worth the money and you will not be disappointed!

Tori L — Google review

We enjoyed Branson's wild world. It was small and the morning was crowded, but I liked the fact that you could get closer to the animals than at other zoos. We found a Groupon so felt it was a decent deal. The mini golf is nothing to write home about. However we did pay to interact with the lemurs and that was well worth it. So much fun!

Leslie M — Google review

The animal displays and aquariums were really cool. The mini golf was a bit cramped for our group of 8 but was still fun. Better suited for a group of 3 or 4. Would recommend!

Robert B — Google review

The best thing about this place was that I got to feed and interact with lemurs. They were climbing on me, and it was absolutely worth the money. The kids enjoyed the exhibits and miniature golf. While the animals looked well cared for, the enclosures were small and many animals seemed agitated. But it may have been because it was nearing the end of the day and perhaps the animals were ready for dinner and rest. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Holly C — Google review

I did enjoy the experience. Staff was very nice and helpful. Some of the exhibits seem a little unkempt and questionable, but there are so many animals and stuff to see. Decorations are nice, but watch the decorative rocks because they are a trip hazard. Inside and outside exhibits. Interactive fish tanks and chances to interact with animals. There is a senior discount.

Nina M — Google review

Son liked it but not as much as he did promised land zoo. Inside was nice. we didn't walk the whole park to many stairs for my 70yr old dad whom wanted to come but we didn't thinking it would be that much hills an steps. We enjoyed the black light golf!

Michael&Bridgette M — Google review

Absolutely a fun time! Lots to see and lots to do. The staff is very knowledgeable about their animals and can tell the animals are very well taken care of! It can be as cheap as admission only and feeding and interacting with some animals is extra but very worth it! The dings are super friendly and playful! You can feed the alligator, feed the otters, and feed the lemurs. All animals are friendly and staff again is super friendly and helpful!Very highly recommend!

Thomas J — Google review

Absolutely loved coming here! I have visited both locations, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The range of crocodilians, won me over considering most places in Missouri only have alligators. Fun animal selections and the aquarium portion was a nice change of pace. I love that I can come here and practice my wildlife photography since you’re so close and personal with the animals. Got a chance to meet the owner and you can tell he cares for his animals.

Jessy S — Google review

Definitely a fun experience for our family! Our kids are 4 and 5 and it was just the right amount of experience for their ages. There were a lot of places the kids could step/climb up to see things more clearly, which was sooo helpful for their experience. We didn't see the outdoor animals because it was raining all day, but everything else was great.

Brittany W — Google review

So fun, and interactive. A wide variety of animals both indoor and outdoor. The whole family enjoyed it. We fed sharks and went in the lemur playground. Super nice staff that enjoy yelling you about the animals. Went during the week so it wasn't too crowded. A bit pricey but it's worth it. We will definitely be back again.

L M — Google review

We had free tickets, so we decided to use them and check the place out. Gives off a low-budget roadside feel right in the door. Hit with an immediate smell of dirty aquarium water. Confirmed the source as so as we started the tour. A lot of aquarium were in due need of cleaning. A lot of buildup on the glass of nearly every one of them. Outside section saved it from being a complete bust. Great chance to get a closer view of stone animals versus an actual zoo. Wolves, hyenas, a tiger, and even a liger. Several other predatory animals that you can get a closer look at. They offer a chance to feed several of the different animals for a fee. You can tell that the animals are accustomed to it because they run up when you're there and leave fairly quickly when they realize you have no food. Free tickets, so the bar hasn't set super high, but if I had paid $22 normal admission, I would have not been happy with the experience.

Rick B — Google review

Took our kiddos here on a cold day while visiting Branson. You are first met at the door with a humid moldy smell of aquarium air. Once your past that this place is pretty neat. They have a good amount of different aquatic life but the outside area is where you get up close to the big cats and other animals. Nice place to visit for the experience but it could use a few upgrades for the indoor air quality.

JAMES H — Google review

Very fun place to visit. I highly recommend coming here. It’s like a mini zoo that has a bit of everything. A big bull shark pool, crocs, dingos, lemurs, and more. I recommend the extra lemur experience for adults as they do jump on you and eat food from you. We fed the sharks as well and that was interesting in how they take food. I recommend this place to visit.

T B — Google review

Recommended this place during our Branson trip and my group (3 adults) wasn't too interested but agreed to go. Everyone was pleasantly surprised it was a highlight of the trip. Way more animals than we expected and they were very active. It was a great time and I would recommend for all ages!

Onyx Cave is a small cavern that offers self-guided audio tours amidst beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. The tour involves wearing a headset with an audio recording of the guide, which some visitors may find impersonal. However, the geological formations are stunning and make for a fun adventure with friends. Admission costs around $26 for two people and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Additionally, there is a gift shop on-site worth exploring.

We had a great time at the onyx cave and spent about an hour and 45 minutes here. We did the walking audio tour and purchase the treasure chest package and found lots of cool gems! Or tour guide was really passionate about the cave and gave us a lot of cool information. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Stephanie A — Google review

It was a fun trip into a smaller cavern. With a group of friends it can be a fun adventure! The geological formations were beautiful, but the tour left me feeling lacking. It cost roughly $26 for two people to get into the cave and you were required to wear a headset that had an audio recording of the guide. It felt impersonal. The tour was around 30 minutes, and the gift shop was interesting. If you have some time in the area I would definitely say it is worth the trip!

Jerry T — Google review

We enjoyed our visit. At first we thought maybe it wasn’t open, it was November and a weekday, but we walked down and were welcomed immediately upon walking in. It was nice to have the headphones to hear the history of the cave as well as about caves in general.Cute little gift shop and I saw other spaces/areas that are probably open in the summertime. It is a walk in and back out on the same pathway so with lots of visitors it could be a little crowded.

Lori L — Google review

Cave was pretty cool. Cute gift shop with a sweet cat that was sleeping in a rock bin. They give you a head set and you listen to it as you walk yourself through the cave. You get to the end and have to turn around back the way you came in. Some of the lights didn't work so some areas were dark. I adjusted my headphones and ended up resetting the voice recording somehow. Not very big, but a nice experience. They also offer ax throwing, but we didn't do it.

Suzi D — Google review

Really great. The owners are trying to keep this cave safe and pristine. Crazy to think it was used as a war fall out shelter until they realized that caves breathe so anything toxic outside would overwhelm inside. And the owner gave us a great lunch recommendation!!

Rebecca S — Google review

This was our second cave to explore in Arkansas and while it was neat, it was overpriced for what it was. This was one of the self guided caves we’ve done and unfortunately it shows. It’s evident that people have disrupted some of the structures in years past however if you like caves, it’s still neat to check out. You can choose to wear headphones and get an audio tour throughout the duration. It is a bit of a crazy drive but again, if you like to explore, it’s worth a trip. Make sure to say hi to the cats!

Megan H — Google review

Very affordable self-guided tour using headphones. The cave was very unique and pretty. It is a pretty steep walk down to where you pay and start the tour. The gift shop was very nice. It was NOT accessible for the handicapped because of the steep declines and steps.

Karen N — Google review

Follow the signs and the entrance is on Valhalla drive, the google maps directions aren’t accurate. We enjoyed the audio guided tour, it’s 20-30 minutes with headphones, and being able to take pictures inside the cave.Due to the nature of it, not very accessible. Not the best place if you can’t go up and down stairs or ramps well or if you have trouble bending down or walking on uneven surfaces. There’s a very steep ramp and stairway to get down to the entrance and the cave has a lot of uneven, slick walking surfaces.

Sydney W — Google review

I really enjoyed this cave! There is a self-guided audio tour that lasts about 20 minutes (they space groups out every four or five minutes so you aren't crammed together). The audio tour was really well done and interesting, and when it's finished you're free to walk around as long as you'd like. The cave isn't nearly as big as some of the others I've been to, but having the opportunity to take our time instead of being huddled together in a large group was great. They also have a large gift shop with lots of items.Be prepared that the ramps to and from the cave are *steep*!

David E — Google review

A must see! The cave was very beautiful and easy enough for adults and children alike. To get to the entrance, you had to walk down alot of stairs that were fairly steep... just so you are aware and prepared for it. The tour is self guided and they give you headsets that explain the history and all the formations of the cave. Also, their gift shop had some great stuff. So make sure to take a look around when you visit.

Lisa W — Google review

Not worth it for the money, they do have axe throwing available as long it’s not raining. The cave itself was cool but definitely not long enough for the price you pay to enter. The tour is self guided with headphones that are wayyyy too loud, and if you try to turn the volume down the tour resets and you end up just taking the headphones off instead of backtracking and starting over just so you can understand what you’re looking at. If you’re looking for a good cave with an in person guide in that area, I recommend Cosmic Cavern in Berryville.

Onyx Cave is the oldest show cave in Arkansas and a great place to visit for those interested in geology or just looking for a fun family activity. The guided tour with headphones is informative and interesting, and visitors can expect to see beautiful formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and flowstone. The park has a gift shop, fossil/gem find, axe throwing and of course the cave tour! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

If you go, you have to do the extended version otherwise it is definitely not worth it IMO. The kids walked through it faster than the audio on the headphones but they enjoyed it still. (6 kids ages 9-15) We were in and out in an hour. It’s one of the smaller ones we’ve visited but still neat!

Awesome place. New exhibit portion where a movie from 1969 called It’s Alive was filmed! We were there today and it opened for the first time yesterday! Great guided tour. Fun sifting gems and fossils.

We did the self guided and the guided portion of the tour. James our guide was incredible. He had a real personal love and history with the cave. He taught us a lot about geology, conservation, and most especially about life and the ways scientists are heroes that contribute to the common good. We all felt a strong sense of awe after our tour. Also, the rock sifting for gems was super fun for our eight year old.

We visited the onyx cave with our kids. The manager named JEFF was super polite and provided the most personalized guided tour ever. He was super sweet to my 5 year old and showed her a bunch of cool details in the cave. Another one of the male guides gifted my daughter an awesome 20 cent coin from 1953. 10/10 recommend.

I love visiting caves and this one is a nice little gem in NW Arkansas! It's a short, self guided tour, but there's so many formations to look at! We looooooooved the cats and super appreciative of the tour guide that let me and my fiancé take a peek at the sink hole behind the elephant formation. Great price for what you see!

Love this place. The walk down to it is very steep so you need to be fit and wear good shoes. The cave is about 60 degrees which is great during the summer. The people are friendly and nice. They have a friendly cat that doesn't mind petting. You use Bluetooth headphones to play they tour info and walk through yourself. Would highly recommend.

We visited the cave all the way from colorado and had the pleasure of meeting our tour guide james for the guided section of the tour. He was exciting, upbeat, passionate and knowledgeable. He answered every question we had. He knew everything there was to know about Onyx cave. We got to hear personal stories about the caves, and how much the formations have grown since he was a child. he painted an amazing visual of what the caves were like millions of years ago. He respects caves and their formations, especially onyx cave. We love you James, and we had the best tour EVER with you. You will be in family stories! If you can, get a guided tour to meet James yourself, i promise you will remember it for a lifetime.
