Finding the right materials to make everything you want in Sun Haven can pose some challenges. For example, you must go through multiple floors of the Sun Haven Mines to collect enough ore for your needs. Everyone can use ore in this game to craft weapons, armor, or tools.

Instead of guessing what you’ll find on each floor, you can utilize a material guide to see what you’ll find on each mine floor. With 50 floors to explore, you’ll save some time, know where to go, and get everything you need to craft what you want.

Understanding Material Spawns

Sun Haven: Mine Material Location Guide (6)

When you seek ore and other materials in the mines, you must remember a few crucial points.

  • You'll come across specific materials in every set of ten floors, but that doesn't mean the materials will spawn on every floor.
  • For example, you may encounter an Iron Ore on the first floor, but that doesn't mean another will appear on the second one.
  • The ore, materials, enemies, and collectibles are randomized each time, so you may need to explore the entire floor set to get what you want.

You can use a guide as a general list to help you know where to look for these items. If you want to make iron armor or weapons, you know to focus your efforts on thefirst 20 floors. On the other hand, if you want Havenite, you can go to the last ten floors but still collect any iron or copper you come across.

Random Spawns

Sun Haven: Mine Material Location Guide (7)

You have a few materials you can find on any floor, so if you need any of them, go into the mines. Remember that you won't be guaranteed to get them on each floor, but you can look through them and see what you'll find.

Material

How To Get It

Stone

You can collect this material from any rock or ore you break.

Coal

Rocks and ore have a random chance of dropping coal. You can also get them from dark rocks.

Sapphire

Look for the Sapphire-colored ore deposits on the floor. This is a rarer one that you can find throughout the mines.

Copper Ore

Copper Ore is common on the first 20 floors but becomes rare afterward. You can find rocks with copper lumps on them.

Iron Ore

Iron Ore is common from the eighth floor to the 25th, though you can find it elsewhere. You'll look for the rocks with iron lumps on them.

Gold Ore

Gold ore can appear on any floor, though it's a generally rare item. You'll notice the gold on the rocks, allowing you to break them and get some material.

Ruby

Rubies are rare overall, so look for the red crystals on rocks to break them open and get the material.

Origins of Sun Haven And Helios

You can collect these five books as you break any object on the floors. You have five variations marked by a Roman Numeral.

Coins

Coins can appear in treasure chests and inside vases. You'll see breakable vases as you explore the mines, so go up to them, swing your pickaxe, and collect some money.

Treasure Chests

Treasure chests appear as boxes on the map. You go up to and open a chest to collect the coins inside. They also have a slim chance of dropping other materials, such as ore, rubies, and more.

Fire Crystals

Fire Crystals appear as red crystals on the ground. You pick them up, but some may be in minecarts with red crystals. You'll find them on levels with lava, such as floors 11-20.

Water Crystals

Water Crystals appear as blue crystals on the ground. You can pick them up while also coming across some in minecarts with blue crystals.

Black Diamonds

Black Diamonds have a slim chance of appearing in Ore. You can't really farm them efficiently, so collect them as you keep going through the mines and don't prioritize them.

Look for these spawn points and see if they appear, so you can collect what you need and get more materials. Since they're randomized, it doesn't hurt to look for them as you focus on other materials.

Floor-Specific Materials

Sun Haven: Mine Material Location Guide (8)

As you explore different floors, you'll find materials, though some can only appear on certain floors, so check that information beforehand.

Material

How You Get It

Floor Location

Drill Bit

You'll come across bee enemies you can defeat, and they may drop the Drill Bit.

11-20

Fur Tuft

These are purple fur piles that appear on the ground. You'll get them by removing enemies on these floors and getting the items.

Berry

These have a small chance of dropping from some enemies, though it's a rare item. The berries do permanently increase your mana.

Amethyst

Amethyst is a clearer crystal that you'll see on rocks. This is a rare option among the bunch, so you should watch for it as you travel through these floors.

11-40

Adamant Ore

Adamant Ore has a greenish-blue color to it on the rocks. It's rare on the earlier floors, becomes common around the 30th, and rare again on the final ones.

11-50

Soot

Soot is a material dropped by fire enemies on these floors. Simply defeat them and see if they drop the black substance on the ground.

21-30

Lava Honey

The lava bee enemies drop these. It appears as a jar with red liquid, so fight those foes and see if they drop it.

Snowball

There're also snow enemies you can come across, such as an ice centipede. They'll drop snowballs to the ground after you beat them, but the drops aren't guaranteed.

Ancient Sun Haven Sword

Another rare drop by the enemies on this floor. They're less common than the other drops, so you may need to spend a while trying to collect them.

21-40

Mithril Ore

An excellent ore type that appears on a round rock with blue crystals. it's most common on floors 31-40, but you can find them as a rarer drop on the other floors.

21-50

Ice Cube

Another drop from the ice enemies on this floor. It's uncommon, but you'll see it as a literal ice cube on the ground, so watch for the pickup.

31-40

Diamond

These appear as white crystals on the rocks, shining and standing out from others. Even on the floors it appears, it's not a common one, so you must watch for them if you want to get this valuable crystal.

31-50

Sticky Sap

The plant enemies drop this as a bottle of substance. The enemy shoots a lingering purple mist, so don't go straight to the pickup since doing so can cause you to take damage.

41-50

Dragonfly

The frog enemies drop this on the floor. They'll drop it as soon as they die, so check next to them once you defeat them.

Dorado

A fish dropped by the frog enemies. They aren't as common as the Dragonfly material, but you can still see them on the later floors.

Sunite Ore

An orange ore that you'll come across on the later floors. This one occasionally appears on the floors, so you can easily farm a few when they appear.

Havenite

One of the rarest ores on this floor. It also has an orange appearance, so you may as well collect both while you go through these floors.

The ore will only respawn and change the next day. If you clear out the floors, you must go to bed to collect more. On the other hand, enemies can respawn on floors, so return to them if you want to collect those items.
