RC delivered a great Transpacific cruise
"
But since this cruise only had 4 days of port stops (after Bay of Islands was cancelled), it want a big deal.We would not choose these large ships for a port intensive cruise.

We are a Seattle-area family and finally took our first Alaska Cruise. The trip exceeded all expectations. It was so hard to leave on day 8.Dining: We LOVED the Windjammer, and in particular, the Indian food was delicious! The Windjammer was just exceptional in every way: huge variety of food, very clean, and friendly staff. Beautifully set out fruit and dessert stations, too. In terms

My husband and I normally cruise with Celebrity. However, we wanted to take our children (8 and 10) on a cruise and thought RC would be a better fit.The ship itself is beautiful! So well maintained, incredibly clean and just beautiful inside. We loved the indoor pool (it was too chilly for the outside pool). The gym was fantastic too! Bumper cars was super fun. Plus, we enjoyed playing

We just went on the RC Ovation of the Seas for an Alaska cruise, here is our review.Pros: Our dining room servers John and Rex were amazing, very attentive and personable, A+ for them, same for our room steward Xammhie. She was very attentive, took care of whatever we needed, also an A+.Cons: the food in the dining room was not good. For example I ordered fried chicken for American night,

This was our first cruise in 10 years and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Full disclaimer - 30 days before the sail date there was a change in itinerary where Sitka was replaced with Victoria, BC. This seemed to upset quite a few people we encountered. We knew of the change a month before so personally had time to adjust. There was also a medical evacuation on the cruise prior which resulted in a

My 3rd royal Caribbean cruise was such a disappointment. They cut 1 of the only 2 stops on a 10 day cruise. No refund no alternative activities. 80% of the activities where just shopping advertising. Pickle ball court is only 3 courts so good luck getting the court for the 90 min it was open during breakfast. The only fun activity bumper cars was also scheduled during breakfast or dinner or main

My experience started off very well but began to wain at the end. My wife and I were not met at the airport by one RC staff but by three for an individual transport to the ship's terminal. Boarding had no exceptional delays. We retrieved our luggage ourselves from the stewards area as it had not been placed for us at the designated time. We had been in the same clothes for 28 hours and needed a

Wonderful! I should mention that I'd only give five stars if I'd be willing to do the same trip again immediately! Stateroom; DH and I booked a balcony cabin on Deck 13. Deck 13 has an awning above which limits your photography when you're in the Sounds (I've mentioned this on another post). We didn't find it a problem really, just went up to Deck 14 for extra pics. The cabin had the bed by
