His work on earth was done. Clarence Swist, Sr. leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Mozell Brown Swist; three daughters, Erma Jean Price, Vickie Lynn Swist, and Cynthia Elaine Swist of Austin; four sons, Clarence, Reginald Allen, Roger Lee and Christopher Eric Swist, all of Austin; one brother, Cornelius Swist, Austin; two sisters, Sally Swist of Austin, and Effie Hadnot of Lufkin, Texas; 17 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; and a numerous amount of dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 1994 at Community Baptist Church, Hwy. 183, Lockhart. Interment will follow at Capital Memorial Park. Wake services will be Sunday, November 27, 1994 at 7:00 PM. King- Tears Mortuary.
Jennie Ruth Reed Mrs. Jennie Ruth Reed, age 75, a resident of Collinsville, Virginia, for three years, passed away November 19, 1994. She was born in Mansfield, Louisi- ana, on July 28, 1919, the daughter of Mr. Sank R. Reed and Mrs.
Pearl Martin Reed. Her parents preceded She attended First Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, Virginia. Retired, Federal Bearing, Poughkeepsie, New York. Survivors include one son, Mr. Clifton David Stephens of Austin, Texas; one brother, Mr.
William D. Reed, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Betty C.V. Reed, both of Capital Heights, Maryland. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 26, 1994, at 11:00 AM, at First Presbyterian Church, CollinsVirginia, with Reverend David Speering officiating.

She attended TSTW in Denton; was a secretary for Austin I.S.D. for 15 years; a volunteer at RNC Retirement Home; very active member of Tarrytown United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Christian Adult Fellowship. She was preceded in death by her Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in husband of 54 years, Allen C.
