Ed Clarence Henry Moore Clarence Henry Moore, a loving husband. father, and grandfather departed this life on Saturday, June 30.2001. at 4:00 a.m. at River Haven Nursing Home in Georgetown, Texas. He was born October 8.

1928. to the late David and Martha Moore of Riegelwood. North Carolina, who preceded him in death. Clarence, a former resident of Abilene Texas, resided with his daughter and son-in-law for the past two years in the Austin area. He was a member of the Fellowship at Forest Creek in Round Rock.

Texas. Clarence retired from the United States Air Force as a senior master sergeant after serving for 28 years. In addition, he was employed as a maintenance supervisor for the United States Postal Service for 12 vears. He was driven by the feeling of accomplishment that he derived from his work and his willingness to always give his best at whatever the task may be, small or large. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Don Sargent Ed (Eddie) Don Sargent passed away at Seton Hospital on July 2, 2001, surrounded by his loved ones. Eddie's courage and dignity during his four year battle against both leukemia and cancer inspired his family, friends, physicians and nurses, becoming a hero to all who knew him. He was a very unique and independent person who was devoted to both his family and his country. Eddie was born in Big Spring, Texas, on June 8, 1945, to Ed and Mary Sargent and grew up in Eastland, Texas, where he graduated from high school in 1963.

He attended the University of Texas. His love of the sea led him to join the United States Navy where he served as an E-5 aboard the nuclear USS PUFFER. He was honorably discharged in 1971. He met and later married Nancy Nay in Brownwood on January 16, 1971. Eddie worked as a computer engineer for 30 years, his last association being with DataCard Corporation, where he received numerous awards.

His interests and affiliations include a love of fishing, photography and hunting. leading to his becoming active in the NRA. TSRA. Coastal Conservation Association Ducks Unlimited. He was also a supporter of the Republican National Committee.

Eddie is survived by his wife and best friend of 30 years, Nancy: daughter and son-in-law. Barbara and David Parlett of Lewisville: son and da Brad and Robyn Sargent of Irving: daughter Amanda Sargent of Austin; two grandchildren, William and Joseph Parlett of Lewisville: brother and sisterin-law. Mickey and Sandy Sargent, of Eastland: sisters-in-law, Sara Nay of Austin and Susie Fenton, of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. died Sunday, July 1,2001, in Dallas, Texas. after a brief illness. Ruth worked at VIP Education Services and was active at Temple Beth Israel of Austin. She also assisted with the activities of Cub Pack 234. Ruth was born in Monroe, Louisiana.

Justin Kelly Brady Justin Kelly Brady passed away Monday, July 2, 2001, after a spirited and courageous two-year battle with cancer. he died, he had remarked to his mother, "I'm looking for an angel." Justin was born August 31, 1981, in Annapolis, Maryland, and moved to Austin with his family in 1988. He attended Spicewood Elementary School, Canyon Vista Middle School, Westwood High School and Blinn Junior College.

A member of the Latin National Honor Society, Justin will be remembered best as an avid athlete who enjoyed playing many sports, including soccer and basketball. But his one true love was baseball, and he played on teams for the Town and Country Optimists, Austin Slam, Heart of Texas Baseball and Westwood High School. He was a member of the Blinn Junior College team when he was stricken with cancer. A lefty with a mean curveball, Justin was honored with selection to the High Country All-Stars and toured Australia with them in December 1998. Justin loved his family and enjoyed spending time with a wide circle of friends.

He was renowned for his sense of humor and practical jokes, and laughter followed him wherever he went. Even as he battled cancer he inspired laughter and admiration in his caregivers. He is survived by his parents, Joyce Brady and Jim Houdek, Austin; brothers and sisters, Michelle, Watertown, Massachusetts; Jennifer, The Colony. Texas: Jeffrey, Allen, Texas; Matthew. Fort Worth, Texas; John, Leroy, Texas; grandparents, Edwin and Ruth Beckwith, Barefoot Bay, Florida; three nieces and four nephews.

The family would like to extend a special, heartfelt thanks to Lindsey Bowles, his longtime friend, who made his last days happy. was born January 19, 1912, in Carthage, Missouri, and died July 1, 2001. Hawk graduated from Carthage High School in 1929, just before the stock market crash. In spite of the depression, he got a job at Montgomery Wards because he could play third on the softball team. He transferred to Oklahoma City where he met Irene C. Saul.

They were married on July 2, 1937. From that union came two children, Ralph Jr. and John Michael. Hawk served in the US Immigration Service during World War II. In 1949, the family moved to Austin.

In 1957, he started Hawks Used Cars and Irene came up with the slogan "Don't Walk, See Irene died in December 1981. He met Ruthe Newberry at a blind golfing date set up by mutual friends at the Austin Country Club. They were married June 28, 1983. Both were avid golfers and spent many happy hours together on the links. Ruthe died January 1, 1999.

Hawk was preceded in death by his parents, brother and two sisters. He is survived by his son, Ralph and wife, Martha, John and wife, Becky; grandsons, Rob and Ryan Hawkins and wife, Heather; granddaughters, Leslie and Gena Hawkins. He is also survived by his great-grandson, nevan and greatgranddaughter, Madeline. Hawk was proud of his 47 year sobriety with AA. He donated his body to science.

Allen Julius Aldridge was born on September 19, 1948. He attended Kealing Jr. and Anderson High Schools in Austin, Texas. His grandparents, one uncle; and three aunts preceded him in death. Allen professed a hope in Christ and was baptized in 1959, by the Reverend Odessa Galloway at Hope Primitive Baptist Church.

He later united with Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. Allen was a self taught artist with natural artistic abilities that touched the of many. Much of his art expressed communication, compassion, and love. One of his favorite art pieces titled "The Lost was exhibited at Laguna Gloria Art Museum in Austin, Texas. Anyone who knew Allen would say how he loved to draw.

and Alice Lucksinger. He attended Austin High School and graduated from St. Edward's University in 1928, with a Bachelor of Administration degree. While he was working in Santa Anna, Texas, in 1935, he married Mary Harriet Simpson, his wife of 56 years. Mr.

Lucksinger was employed by the Lower Colorado River Authority for 38 years. He was directly involved in the construction of the damson the Highland Lakes, particularly Buchanan Dam and Marshall Ford Dam. The majority of that time he was the comptroller, and later Assistant General Manager. He retired from LCRA in 1973. He was a founding member of the West Austin Rotary Club, and served as president.

He was a member of the parishes of St. Austin and Thomas More Catholic Churches. He is survived by his two daughters, Ann Helm and Jane Francis, with James K. Knight Zenda W. Knight, of Georgetown, died Tuesday, July 3,2001. She was born June 9, 1905, in Galena, Kansas. As a young woman, she was active in the Eastern Star and Odessa Chuck Wagon Gang auxiliary and Permian Basin Oil Show Directors auxiliary. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior early in life and held steadfastly to her faith throughout her life.

Zenda was married to the late F.A. Bud Knight. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Abshier, son-in-law, T.C. Abshier, of Bryan, Texas; daughter, Frances Kaufman of Sun City in Georgetown; Texas, son; Paul A. Knight; daughterin-law, Rose Knight of Austin; brother, Leo Welch of Albany, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
